Alba offers a restorative escape where every moment feels effortless and beautifully still. Alba is where refined architecture meets the quiet magic of the High Desert. Whether you’re here to reconnect, recharge, or simply breathe deeper, Alba sets the tone for an unforgettable desert escape. -Outdoor Amenities- Step into your private backyard and feel the landscape wrap around you. The south-facing pool and spa capture uninterrupted mountain views, perfect for slow mornings, sun-drenched afternoons, and twilight swims under Joshua Tree’s famous starry night skies. As night falls, gather around the gas firepit to watch the desert glow fade into a star-drenched sky. With over 2 acres to explore, the property offers both openness and intimacy, creating a setting that feels at once expansive and deeply grounding. -Living Area- The living room is spacious, calming, and perfect for unwinding. Vaulted ceilings and oversized windows invite the desert panorama inside, while soft desert hues and natural textures create a soothing, elevated ambiance. It’s a place to curl up with a book, enjoy slow mornings with coffee, or unwind after a day in the park. A sleek stone fireplace with an electric insert brings a warm glow on cool desert nights, while the large smart TV makes movie evenings effortlessly cozy. -Kitchen & Dining- The kitchen is a chef-friendly space with sleek quartz countertops, high-end appliances, and generous prep areas. Its open layout encourages cooking together, sharing wine, and letting conversations unfold naturally. The dining area sits perfectly positioned to capture shifting desert light, making every meal, from sunrise breakfast to sunset dinner, feel like a moment to savor. -Bedrooms & Bathrooms- The primary suite is its own secluded sanctuary, equipped with a king bed and a smart TV for private movie nights. Wake up to desert views, unwind in the spa-inspired en-suite bathroom, and enjoy the peace of having your own private wing. The two additional bedrooms are equally thoughtful, offering queen beds and smart TVs with shared access to a full bathroom complete with standing shower and double sinks. There is an additional half bathroom off the kitchen for easy access before dinner or after the pool. -Surrounding Area- Alba is tucked into a quiet corner of Joshua Tree, offering a sense of stillness that’s rare and restorative. Just minutes away, Joshua Tree National Park unfolds with otherworldly boulders, open desert trails, and sunrises that feel almost cinematic. The nearby town offers an eclectic mix of cafes, local art, boutique shopping, and its beloved farmers market. Whether you’re exploring the park or simply soaking in the silence back at Alba, this landscape has a way of slowing time and refreshing the spirit. -Amenity List- ► In-ground pool & spa (please note there’s an additional fee to heat the pool during the cooler months, no fee to heat the hot tub. Pool only goes up to 80). ► Propane firepit ► Projector for outdoor movies ► Stone electric fireplace ► Large smart TVs in living room and all bedrooms ► Fully equipped modern kitchen Drip coffee machine & French press ► Coffee provided, as well as a variety of sugar, creamer & a variety of tea ► High-speed Wi-Fi, perfect for working from home ► Covered carport ► Heating & air conditioning ► Washer & dryer ► EV charger The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that there are a few supply closets that are locked that house supplies for the rental. A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed. Please note that Alba is in a remote location, and the last 1.4 miles to the home are dirt roads, so please take it slow. The dirt roads are maintained, and a four-wheel drive car is not necessary, but please note that the dirt road conditions vary and may have bumps and ruts, particularly after rainstorms. -Pool Heating Fee- Should you wish to have the pool heated to 85 degrees, please notify us in advance of your arrival as there will be a supplemental charge per day for this service due to high fuel costs in this area. If you’d like the pool heated for multiple days, we ask that days be consecutive to conserve energy, thank you! Pool heating is not usually necessary May through September. Please note that we will need at least 24 hours’ notice to heat the pool. ► $250 per night *No fee to heat the hot tub!* -Pool Heating- Only one of the pool or hot tub can heat at once. If you wish to use the hot tub while the pool is heating, just note that the pool heating will turn off while the hot tub heats. Once the hot tub is turned back off, the pool heating will resume. -Hot Tub Heating- Please note that because the hot tub is an in-ground hot tub, it is not heated constantly in order to conserve energy. It will take around 30 minutes to heat to 104 degrees from ambient temperature. -Pool and Hot Tub Service- The pool and hot tub are serviced Mondays and Thursdays, approximately between 9am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician’s busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard. -Dogs- We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation if you are bringing dog(s) and how many, and we will adjust the price accordingly. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed. -Local Experiences: Relax, Adventure, Connect- We’ve handpicked an incredible selection of local vendors to enhance your Joshua Tree stay, offering a mix of relaxation, adventure, and everything in between. Whether you’re seeking relaxation with sound baths, yoga sessions, meditation guides, in-home massages, facials, aromatherapy or the convenience of a personal chef of caterer, you’ll find options to elevate your experience. For thrill-seekers, explore rock climbing adventures, dune buggy rides, or horseback riding. Other unique experiences include guided stargazing tours under the breathtaking desert sky or guided hikes accompanied by mini donkeys! All vendor details are available in our guidebook upon booking, making it easy to craft your ideal getaway. Many services can come directly to the house, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable stay! -Desert Wildlife & Safety Tips- The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it’s important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert. -Security Camera- There are security cameras facing the driveway and outdoor areas (behind the house and the side of house) for security and in order to monitor the quantity of people and cars on the property, so we may ensure compliance with local ordinances. There are no security cameras inside or facing any private areas of the home, such as the pool and spa area.
