One living room flows off of the kitchen while the other is close to the door to the front yard -Living Room #1 has a Flat Screen TV -Living Room #2 has no TV -Living Room #2 has a dedicated Workspace large desk -Living Room #2 has a mini-fridge & bar setup ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Outdoor Space: -The Front Yard space is up on a hill giving guests privacy from the road below while still providing a view of the Harbor -Parking is FREE at the property ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Laundry: -Washer & Dryer are FREE to use -Laundry Detergent Provided -Dryer Sheets Provided ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Television: -The TVs are SMART TVs that you are able to log into your own apps to view programming -The TVs do NOT have Cable ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A/C Units/Fans: -This home previously has not had A/C but for this year we will install Window A/Cs in Bedrooms and there will be standing fans available as well --------------------------------------------------- -Outdoor Furniture is put out in Late May until the End of October -A/C Units are installed in Early June until the end of September Guests have access to the entire home. There is a Right-Of-Way from the driveway leading directly to the Claremont Hotel behind the home through the woods. The guests at this unit can drive or walk through this access but nobody from the Hotel will use it to access the property. The Hotel has 3 different small restaurants that are open to the public providing an option of having casual dining on the water or a quick drink at a bar. The Claremont Hotel’s website has more information if interested. With our guest’s privacy being of the utmost importance, we have established a contactless self check-in process. We will send you detailed instructions on how to access the home at the time of the reservation. However, if there is anything you need or of concern during your stay with us, we can be easily contacted. Often considered the quieter counterpart to Bar Harbor, this coastal town offers a more relaxed and authentic Maine experience while still providing easy access to Acadia National Park. Home to a thriving boatbuilding industry, Southwest Harbor boasts a strong maritime heritage, with local shipyards crafting some of the finest yachts in the world. The town’s picturesque harbor is dotted with lobster boats, sailboats, and waterfront restaurants serving up fresh-caught seafood. Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty to explore, from the scenic trails of Western Mountain and Beech Cliffs to the serene beauty of Seawall and Echo Lake. The town also serves as a gateway to Great Cranberry and Little Cranberry Islands, accessible by ferry for those looking to explore Maine’s rugged offshore beauty. This is an older home that is a cottage style with no insulation to keep Heat in most of the house except for the Kitchen, Living Room #1, Bedroom #1, & Bathroom #1. This will have no effect on the Window A/C units in the summer, but may impact some guests staying in April or at the end of September who prefer to always have the Heat running.
