Set in unspoiled countryside in north-eastern Slovenia, this sunny apartment for 8 is an ideal choice for friends or two families. It is a convenient base for anybody who wants to explore this stunning region. Alternatively, guests can lie by the shared swimming pool and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
The apartment is on the first floor of a traditionally built villa. Tucked under the eaves, it is light and airy thanks to several skylights. The open-plan living area is furnished with a comfortable corner sofa, a flatscreen TV, and a dining table next to the fitted kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, coffee machine, fridge/freezer and a kettle.
Guests have use of the shared outside swimming pool, a shared garden and also a communal covered area which serves as an outdoor kitchen and dining area, with large tables for memorable meals with friends.

There are two airy bedrooms. Each is furnished with two double beds and has hanging space for clothes.
Bathroom
The tiled bathroom includes a glass shower, basin, washing machine and WC.

Location
Less than two hours’ drive from Ljubljana and Zagreb, the property is in the heart of the idyllic Pannonian region, famous for its wines and thermal springs. Ljubljana makes a fascinating day trip. As does Zagreb, the Croatian capital.
Closer to home, guests can enjoy hiking or cycling in unspoiled nature and vineyards. Many vineyards offer wine tasting, and you can buy wine directly from the producers to enjoy at home. Ptuj Castle (40 minutes) makes a great day out. It is one of the most impressive castles in Slovenia and dominates the pretty Medieval town. For something more relaxing, spend a few hours in one of the town’s thermal spas.
The historic town of Ljutomer (8 minutes) has everything visitors might need in terms of amenities and good restaurants.
Ljubljana’s international airport is a 2-hour 5-minute drive. Alternatively, Zagreb airport is only 1 hour and 45 minutes.
