Bossington Green Cottage

Bossington Green Cottage is a charming semi-detached period home in the peaceful village of Bossington, within Exmoor National Park and just a short stroll from the beach. Blending traditional character with modern comforts, it offers soft cotton bedding, a wood-burning stove, and lovely views in every direction. The property sleeps up to 6 guests across three bedrooms: one king, one double and one twin. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath and shower over, toilet and hand basin, and the other with an original cast iron claw-foot roll-top bath and hand basin, plus a ground floor outside toilet opposite the kitchen. The ground floor comprises a spacious sitting and dining room with a wood burner set in an impressive inglenook fireplace, comfortable sofas, a flat screen TV, and a large dining table seating six, all with views across the village green. The well-equipped kitchen has a Rangemaster cooker, kettle, toaster, microwave, a small breakfast table, and a walk-in pantry housing the fridge, freezer and extra storage. Outside, a large enclosed garden to the rear offers outdoor seating, a gas barbecue for summer months, and views in every direction, though it may not be fully dog-proof as one wall is quite low. At the front there is an unenclosed grassy area with a couple of chairs, a lovely spot for morning coffee. Parking is available in the lay-by opposite the house, reserved for Bossington Green Cottage guests. Wi-Fi, heating and electricity are included, along with bed linen and one towel per person. Up to three well-behaved dogs are welcome at a charge of GBP 6 per dog, per night; dogs should not be left alone in the property and are not permitted upstairs. Children are welcome, though the property is not suitable for guests with restricted mobility or wheelchair users. A decorated Christmas tree is put up during the festive period.
