Exmoor View Log Cabin, nr North Molton

Exmoor View Log Cabin is a hand-built log cabin offering a romantic retreat for two in a secluded meadow near North Molton, with sweeping views towards Exmoor and its own private hot tub. Finished to a high standard using British timber, the cabin has one double bedroom with Egyptian cotton bedlinen, and an en-suite shower room with heated towel rail, toilet, basin and complimentary Bramley toiletries. Towels and bathrobes are provided. The open-plan living area is warmed by underfloor heating throughout and furnished with a comfortable sofa, TV with Freeview, board games, cards, books and an OS map for local walks. Free WiFi and a good mobile signal are available. The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric oven, induction hob, fridge-freezer, toaster and kettle, and guests arrive to find local tea and coffee, homemade biscuits and fresh milk waiting for them. Outside, the cabin sits within its own enclosed garden, one of two identical cabins positioned privately on opposite sides of a meadow. A gravel area at ground level has a private electric hot tub ready to use on arrival, a fire pit, and a table and chairs for outdoor dining, while steps lead up to a raised decking area with deck chairs for taking in the views. The path to the cabin is lit for easy access after dark, though the ground can be uneven and guests are advised to bring suitable footwear. The property is on a working farm, so livestock or machinery may be nearby, and the owners live close by should assistance be needed. Private off-road parking is available just off the lane, with a short, lit walk across the field to reach the cabin. This property does not accept dogs or children, and is unsuitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility due to steps and uneven ground. Arrivals are on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays from 4pm, with departure by 10am. At Christmas, a festive wreath decorates the front door and fairy lights twinkle around the garden at night.
