The Smithy, nr Huntsham

The Smithy is a spacious, four-star single-storey country cottage sleeping up to six guests across three ensuite bedrooms (one double and two twins). The property features an expansive open-plan living area and a bright, airy conservatory, along with a wood burner (complimentary basket of logs included) and oil-fired central heating for cosy stays. Outside, guests have their own private, enclosed garden with mesh fencing, complete with patio furniture and a barbecue, and enjoying lovely views over the surrounding countryside. The Smithy also has access to two acres of shared communal grounds at Three Gates Farm, a converted 17th century farm comprising five charming holiday cottages. Shared facilities include a spacious 33ft indoor swimming pool (operated on a rota system), a sauna, a fitness room, a games room with table tennis and a small pool table, children’s play areas with swings, a slide, a trapeze, a seesaw and a 12ft trampoline, an enclosed pond with ducks and friendly chickens, and on-site laundry facilities. The kitchen is equipped with an electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is a flat screen TV with DVD player, free WiFi, and bed linen and towels are provided. A cot and highchair are available upon request, and a selection of books, games, jigsaws, DVDs and videos can be borrowed, along with preschool toys and puzzles for children. An information pack and tourist leaflets are provided, and car parking is available on site. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, with a surcharge of GBP 20 per dog per stay. Please note the property is not suitable for guests with restricted mobility or wheelchair users. At Christmas, a decorated Christmas tree is provided. Hosts speak Spanish, French and Greek.
