Our 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath, 2,300 square foot home was built in 2009 and is located just across highway 550 from Durango Mountain Resort (Purgatory) and is 24 miles north of downtown Durango (less then a 30 minute drive).
Enjoy the convenience of being at the ski resort, yet have the privacy and additional space of a house with a two car garage. The resort is both an amazing winter playground, and offers a wealth of all your favorite mountain activities in a cool and comfortable summer climate at 8,900 feet in elevation. For ease, there is a free on-demand shuttle to the ski resort in both winter and summer.
The home is adjacent to over a million acres of national forest land and backs one of the finest hiking trails in the area. Unlimited adventures await in the incomparable San Juan National Forest with walking access to three watersheds with abundant trout and extraordinary vistas of the Needles Mountains.
The home is perfect for multiple families as it features two living spaces on different floors as well an open floor plan, cathedral ceilings, high end appliances, gas fireplace and great views. Additionally, there is a private hot tub and a gas grill.
The home is located near the Purgatory Flats trail head, one of the finest and most scenic hikes in the area as well as a pond for fishing and in winter, there is a cross country ski trail right out the front door.

This property is pet friendly and the pet fee is $25/per day. We allow up to 2 dogs per stay. The maximum pet fee is $150. 4 WD is NOT required in the winter.
For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club.
We are taking appropriate steps to prepare for your stay, and have asked all housekeepers to adhere to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance relative to cleaning and disinfecting. In addition to their regular rigorous cleaning regimen, they are following housekeeping best practices, paying close attention to high touch surfaces, and using the EPA-approved disinfectants for hard (non-porous) surfaces, soft (porous) surfaces and electronics. Linens, towels, bedsheets, etc. are washed per manufacturer’s guidelines. We are also minimizing person-to-person contact from check-in through departure. One of the ways we’re doing this is through no-contact guest access via our keyless entry system. We look forward to welcoming you and hosting your stay.
