Neighborhood Overview:
This Amelia Surf & Racquet Club condo is located is located along a picturesque tree-canopy road towards the south end of the island. It is within walking distance of the Ritz Carlton Hotel via either the beach or a shaded sidewalk.
Within a mile or two, there is a Harris Teeter grocery store and several great restaurants such as Pogo’s, Lagniappe, and Marche Burette. The Property Manager Amelia Island Plantation Resort and Ritz Carlton are also close by – you can access many of their amenities such as restaurants, the “Shops at Amelia Island Plantation,” the Ritz spa, and the Property Manager’s marsh front golf course even though the Surf & Racquet Club has no affiliation with them.
North of the Amelia Surf & Racquet Club, you will find Main Beach which features the Salt Life and Sandbar Kitchen restaurants, a playground, and beachside putt putt golf. From there, Amelia Island’s downtown historic district is just a short drive down Atlantic Avenue. There you will find plenty of wonderful restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and local culture. Fort Clinch State Park is also located along Atlantic Avenue. The park features the 19th century Fort Clinch (still open to the public for tours), a great beach, and lots of beautiful trails for hiking or biking.
Amelia Island State Park and the Big & Little Talbot State Parks are all located to the south of Amelia Surf & Racquet Club. Boneyard Beach in Big Talbot State Park is extremely unique and worth a trip. The oceanfront Kelly’s Seahorse Ranch is located adjacent to Amelia Island State Park and offers guided beach horseback rides.
Getting Around:
• Amelia Island is a small area and is easy to navigate! There is free parking available throughout the entire island, making driving very easy to any place you choose to visit.
• Although Uber/Lyft are not very reliable on the island (we strongly recommend bringing a car), they are available through the app on your smartphone.
• Bike rentals are available at "The Beach Store". Riptide Watersports also delivers bikes and other beach gear.

• Guests will have full access to all common areas of the Surf & Racquet Club, including the two pools, multiple barbeque areas, four tennis courts, and two beach walkovers.
• Thoughtfully appointed with your comfort in mind, the condo is outfitted with an iron and ironing board, luggage rack, hair dryer, beach towels, and a well-stocked kitchen.
• Parking: This condo has two parking spaces in the gated Surf & Racquet Club parking lot.
• Guest Access: Self check-in via a coded smart lock.
• Per the Amelia Surf & Racquet Club rules, pets are prohibited on the entire property.
