Curtidores Street is known for being the main street of El Rastro, the most famous open-air market in the capital of Spain that takes place every Sunday and holiday. At El Rastro, you can find multiple curious objects, furniture, vintage articles, and even collector’s items, almost impossible to find in regular stores. You will stay in a typical area of Madrid where each of its streets tells a story that surrounds and enchants you. It has a wide cultural and gastronomic offer.
If you’re into slightly less traditional plans, you’ll have alternative and very cool plans just a few steps away, such as the referential cultural center of the City: La Casa Encendida, La Biblioteca Escuelas Pías, the fun Cine Sala Equis, a renovated space where you can have a Gin-tonic and eat while watching an old movie, or the legendary Taberna Antonio Sánchez, the oldest in Madrid where you’ll take a trip back to the 80s, the San Fernando Market, and many other places you won’t want to miss.
Perfectly connected with the main points of the city. A few steps away you will have the Embajadores and La Latina metro stations from where you can access the metro lines: L3 and L5 that will connect you to all points of the city or several nearby bus stations that will take you in a few minutes to the main points of interest.
