The main road offers a stroll, taking you to the beach in under 10 minutes. Porto de Mos is a gateway to the renowned cliffs of Lagos, including the iconic Ponte da Piedade. Lagos’ bustling downtown area is also nearby this apartment. Lagos is the quintessential holiday destination, featuring a vibrant historical center brimming with shops, supermarkets, a bustling marina, bars, and restaurants. The town is celebrated for its breathtaking cliffs, and we enthusiastically recommend exploring them from the water via boat, kayak, or SUP tours. Lagos showcases a picturesque historical center, delectable cuisine, and a welcoming community. Nestled along the coast, it offers numerous water sports opportunities, including surfing and sailing, making it the ideal location for all ages and preferences to indulge in a wide array of activities. Transit You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours. Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.
