A Joshua Tree Landmark for Unforgettable Stays
Discover Joshua Tree’s most distinctive home, featured in Forbes magazine, New York Times, Vice, Maxim, Robb Report, and owned by a musician (unnamed by choice). With six bedrooms, a resort-sized pool, a fire pit for 12, a grand piano, and sweeping desert views, it’s built for unforgettable gatherings.
Three living rooms and patios invite connection, while playful touches - from water volleyball to a new pickleball court - make every day memorable. With a legacy of entertaining guests who value extraordinary experiences, this is where timeless memories are made.
This is your one-of-a-kind home in the heart of Joshua Tree, designed for those who seek experiences that linger long after they end. This is a house that draws people together, not just to stay, but to savor moments of connection, celebration, and reflection against the dramatic desert backdrop.
— A House Designed for Gathering —
Every space here invites people to come together while still offering room for privacy:
- Six uniquely styled bedrooms, including an upstairs suite with a private patio for sunrise coffee or stargazing at night.
- Three spacious living rooms, each with its own character: The main living room, where the whole group can watch a movie, the intimate library, and the music room with a grand piano and pool table.
- Three outdoor patios seamlessly blend indoor comfort with open desert skies.
- A resort-sized pool, perfect for water volleyball matches or leisurely afternoons in the sun.
- A new pickleball court adds playful competition to your days.
- A grand piano and pool table, fueling spontaneous evenings of music and laughter.
- A fire pit with seating for 12, set against expansive desert views - ideal for late-night stories under the stars.
This house was built for friends, families, and groups who want to make memories together in a setting as bold and unforgettable as the desert itself.
— The Spirit of the Stay —
The house isn’t just about amenities - it’s about atmosphere. Every room is layered with rich textures, rare details, and carefully chosen design elements that spark conversation. From a 12-foot marble kitchen island to walls lined with books and artifacts, it’s a place that feels alive with character.
Here, days find their own rhythm: Mornings often begin with coffee on a patio as the desert awakens. Afternoons drift between the pool, the pickleball court, or a quiet moment with a book. Evenings stretch into long dinners outdoors, laughter by the fire pit, or whisky tastings in the library.
— For Guests Who Value the Exceptional —
This house is ideal for travelers who are drawn to unforgettable experiences. It’s for those who understand that the most valuable part of travel is not the price, but the moments that become stories shared for years.
From Hollywood actors to recording artists, the house has hosted a range of well-known names, and its distinctive design has made it a natural setting for movies and television. Many guests enjoy knowing they are part of the property’s ongoing story.
— The Invitation —
If you’re seeking a stay where your group can gather in comfort, style, and privacy — where the desert itself feels like part of the house — then Joshua Tree Mansion is ready to welcome you.
This is more than just a place to sleep. It’s a setting for memories, a stage for laughter, and a stay that will stay with you long after you’ve left Joshua Tree.

Home Truths:
- This home allows up to 2 pets under 25 lbs for a fee per pet, per stay; undisclosed pets brought without Property Manager’s approval may result in a $500 fine per pet.
- The pickleball court is only to be used with the supplied “quiet” ninja foam balls. The court is 6 inches shorter than regulation size to accommodate the slightly different bounce. If your main reason for booking this property is the pickleball court, if you intend to play for more than two hours a day, or if having a regulation-size court is very important to you, this property may not be the right fit.
- An additional fee is required for use of the grand piano and vintage jukebox. Please inquire.
- This home is located on a mile of well-packed dirt road, easily accessible to most vehicles.
- Please be aware that wildlife such as insects, scorpions, and snakes may be present. Our team does their best to check the home before your arrival, but be mindful about leaving the doors & windows open during your stay.
- This property has exterior video surveillance and noise alert decibel monitoring systems in common areas to ensure guest security and compliance with local laws. Cameras are located by the front entry.
- Due to the remote location of our home, guests may experience unannounced power outages. Additionally, cell reception is spotty.
- All occupants and guests of the property must follow local laws for outdoor lighting, quiet hours, and parties & gatherings per the San Bernardino County Ordinance.
- Just a friendly reminder that if you’d like pool heat during your stay, requests and payment must be made at least 48 hours before check-in, as we’re unfortunately unable to accommodate mid-stay requests. The pool heat is set to 80 degrees. Any higher temperature can damage the pool/spa equipment. Please note that there is one heater for both the pool and spa, so only one can be heated at a time. If the spa is in use, it may temporarily lower the pool temperature. Lastly, while we’ll do our best to ensure a comfortable experience, outdoor weather conditions may affect how well the water heats. Thank you so much for your understanding!
Parking Details:
- Parking is available for up to nine cars. No street parking is permitted in Joshua Tree.
All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit to be charged after booking.
This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
