This villa is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of the
Helderberg district, known as Somerset West, the perfect base to
discover the Cape Winelands and surrounding areas.
Within Knorhoek estate, this double-storey, private sanctuary is
surrounded by pristine fynbos and a breathtaking panoramic view of the
Atlantic Ocean and mountains, offering a unique opportunity to
experience off-grid living without compromise. While the property
itself is part of the high-end Knorhoek Estate, where one can find safe
and isolated surroundings, visitors are welcome to utilise the
isolation and protection offered by the estate environment.
One of the standout features of this property is the fact that it is
powered by 90 solar panels and an 80-kWh battery system. This ensures
that you have complete energy independence during your stay. The
property features both heating, which is provided by internal gas
heaters and additional electric heaters. Air conditioning is also
available throughout the villa.
The property features bright, open-plan living areas seamlessly
blending indoor and outdoor spaces. The upper level includes a spacious
lounge with a large balcony boasting spectacular views of False Bay, as
well as a stylish kitchen and dining area. There are two king-size
bedrooms that include en-suite bathrooms.
The lower level is fitted with a second living space, which includes
another kitchen, dining, and lounge area with an additional two
king-size bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and direct access to the
swimming pool. Loungers by the infinity pool provide guests with the
perfect spot for relaxing and entertaining. The property includes a
self-contained cottage with a private entrance, which is not included
in the rental.
Dining Services include breakfast, prepared by the cook, upon request
for an additional fee. They are also available to prepare lunch and
dinner for guests upon request for an additional fee. There is a farm
manager on-site during working hours, available to assist guests with
any needs or personalised requests in collaboration with the Property
Host.
Knorhoek estate is home to the Idiom Wines restaurant, just minutes
from the villa, offering fine dining in a beautiful vineyard setting.
Somerset West also offers easy access to local shops, attractions, and
wineries. Somerset West attracts a variety of holidaymakers from all
over the world and offers visitors magnificent vistas over the
breathtaking Helderberg and Hottentots Holland Mountain ranges, as well
