ABOUT THE AREA
Rubicon Bay is located on the majestic West Shore of Lake Tahoe in an area known as the “Gold Coast.” Positioned just south of Meeks Bay and Sugar Pine Point State Park, this area is known for its seclusion. The sun-drenched sandy beaches and awe-inspiring views of Lake Tahoe have kept visitors coming back for generations.
Choose the difficult but rewarding Rubicon Peak Trailhead at the back of this neighborhood, or take a short drive to Meeks Bay Marina or D.L.Bliss State Park for alternate hiking, biking, and snowshoeing options. Homewood Mountain Resort is only 8 miles North, proving you can have seclusion and convenience.
This home is not in South Lake Tahoe. On a summer day, it may take a 30-minute drive, but renters should note that in winter months, the highway between this home and South Lake Tahoe often closes.

POLICIES AND DISCLOSURES:
1. Maximum daytime and nighttime occupancy is 6 adults, plus an additional 2 children under six (6) years of age. Sleeping Arrangements for 8.
2. Parking for 2 vehicles. Street parking is prohibited year-round. Garage is excluded from the rental. Used for owner storage.
3. 4WD is strongly encouraged in the winter months.
4. This home is not equipped with cable, has an app-based LIVE TV.
5. BBQ is seasonal and will not be available in the winter months.
6. The downstairs fireplace is a pellet stove, guests will need to provide their own pellets to use it.
7. The use of ANY outdoor firepit or outdoor fireplaces is strictly prohibited at all our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping to keep our community safe from wildfires.

1. Quiet hours must be observed between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
2. Occupancy is limited between 10 PM and 8 AM.
3. Maximum occupancy is enforced at all times.
