The sun-drenched sandy beaches and awe-inspiring views of Lake Tahoe have kept visitors coming back for generations. Choose the difficult but rewarding Rubicon Peak Trailhead at the back of this neighborhood, or take a short drive to Meeks Bay Marina or D.L.Bliss State Park for alternate hiking, biking, and snowshoeing options. Homewood Mountain Resort is only 8 miles North, proving you can have seclusion and convenience. This home is not in South Lake Tahoe. On a summer day, it may take a 30-minute drive, but renters should note that in winter months, the highway between this home and South Lake Tahoe often closes. The downstairs fireplace is a pellet stove, guests will need to provide their own pellets to use it. 7. The use of ANY outdoor firepit or outdoor fireplaces is strictly prohibited at all our rental properties.
