They also serve a wide selection of items at the casual grill and a lake-view restaurant. Looking for a hike offering breathtaking views or a place to mountain bike along the lake? Venture just a mile north to Blackwood Canyon. The pebble beach across from the canyon is also a great spot to bring your dog for a swim. Just 5 miles away, Tahoe City unfolds with its lively eateries, boutiques, cultural events, and more, catering to you and your family.
When the snow starts to fall you are in the perfect location being just minutes away from Homewood Mountain Resort, featuring 2,000 skiable acres. With Ellis Peak sheltering the entire mountain from the high ridge winds no need to worry about “wind hold” at this mountain when everyone else is. Ever wanted to ride in a snowcat and get fresh tracks in the backcountry? Homewood Snowcat Adventures will get you access to 750 acres of train on the flanks of Ellis Peak, above the resort’s traditional ski area boundary with a licensed guide! For those wanting to venture further Palisades Tahoe is a 13-minute drive away offering endless fun all year round.

1. Maximum Occupancy is 8, excluding children under twelve (12) years of age.
2. Parking for 2 vehicles. Street parking is prohibited year-round.
3. Driveway is an upsloping and shaded. 4WD (with snow tires) during the winter advised.
4. The use of ANY outdoor firepit or outdoor fireplace is strictly prohibited at all our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping to keep our community safe from wildfires.
5. Homewood Mountain Resort, located on the west shore of Lake Tahoe, will not be opening for the 2024-25 ski season. Please plan accordingly.
