Staying in Windsor allows for car-free exploration thanks to the excellent transport links and walking routes in the area. If travelling from abroad and using a car hire service, Heathrow Airport is a short 20-minute drive away from Windsor. When staying in Windsor, a riverboat trip to Maidenhead is recommended.
