Neighborhood The main boulevard in Praia da Rocha has many restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and clubs. This area offers a stunning coastline of beautiful beaches, great tourist facilities and almost perfect year-round weather. You can link up with the main bus service to visit the eastern and western parts of the Algarve. But if you like exploring the surrounding area, we strongly recommend hiring a car. Parking is free at the apartment and in most areas of the Algarve. The very popular Zoomarine park is just a 15-minute drive away in Guia. There are two other water parks around a 30-minute drive from the house and the Lagos Zoo. Transit There is public transport available in the area and all around the Algarve. But buses and trains do not go very often and a (rental) car is recommended. Notes ➤ Check-in time: 4 - 9 pm. Late arrivals must be agreed upon before booking! Extra payment at arrival might be required. 9-11pm 30 euros and 11-12pm 50 euros. Check-in after midnight is not possible. ➤ Check-out time: before 10 am ℹ SEF REQUIREMENTS. All property owners in Portugal have a legal requirement to report tourists’ and guests’ information to Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras (known short as, SEF). To comply with legal requirements, from a week before arrival we shall send to you a link to our SEF form for you to complete and send back to us prior to your arrival. It is a mandatory requirement.
