Neighborhood
Our holiday home in Budens, a small village close to Lagos. It is very popular amongst golf lovers, families and nature lovers.
A selection of restaurants & bars are there for you to explore both local and international food. We recommend trying fresh fish and seafood dishes! There is a large supermarket 4 minutes away by car. The beach of Salema is a 4 minutes drive. Other beaches like Burgau and Praia da Luz, are just a short drive away. Whether you want to relax, go for a surf or enjoy an amazing hike in nature, Budens is the place to be. And if you do crave the city life at some point, the city of Lagos is only 20 minutes away.
Transit
You can reach Budens in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 4 to 5 hours.
The best way to travel the Algarvarian coast is by boat or car. If you really want to explore the area, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier as public transport is limited but will also get you around.
Parking is free and abundant everywhere in this area.
