How about spending a vacation in a country house that is very close to the city and all tourist activities? While in the center people live a normal and fast city life, in the high zones, near the mountains, the calm and country atmosphere is a reality. In this small villa composed of three charming properties, you can enjoy all the calm and serenity with a wide view of the Atlantic Ocean and Funchal. This small ‘farmhouse’ has three stone-walled houses, with different typologies and surrounded by small gardens. The houses are named after trees that exist on our island. This house has two bedrooms, one with two single beds and the other with a double bed. It has two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bathtub. The house has a kitchenette and is fully equipped. Maximum capacity of four people. AREA In the Choupana area, you will find a restaurant just a 2-minute drive from the property. The nearest bakery is a 5-minute drive away, and the supermarket is a 10-minute drive away, close to the city center. The city center is 15 minutes away by car. The area is calm and quiet. From here, you can travel to any part of the island via municipal roads that connect to the highway. Renting a car is the best option to discover the island at your own pace. PROPERTY RULES To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules. • Smoking is not permitted inside the property. A fine of €300 will be charged for non-compliance. • Parties or events are not permitted. • Pets are not permitted. • Please be considerate of your neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night. The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, a member of our team may contact you. You are not permitted to disable, cover or tamper this or any other equipment installed on the property. In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration purposes. Municipal tourist tax (when applicable): €2.00 per person/night for guests aged 13 and above, up to a maximum of 7 nights (€14.00 per person per stay). A payment link will be sent prior to arrival. Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If it is not arranged at least 48 hours beforehand, check-in will be subject to our team’s availability. Check-in: from 16:00 | Check-out: by 12:00 Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and an additional charge. By confirming your reservation, all guests agree to our house rules and accommodation conditions. OTHER NOTES All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide, free of charge, a baby travel crib, high chair and baby bath upon request before check-in. Requests made less than 48 hours before arrival may be subject to an additional fee. All properties are equipped with a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket. For stays of 8 nights or more, a mid-stay service is provided, including the replenishment of bed linen, towels and consumables only. This service is not included for shorter stays. Additional cleaning services during your stay are available on request at an extra charge.
