Suite 929 is a luxurious 3BR deluxe oceanview residence, offering sweeping views of the Pacific that stretch into nearly every area of the home, including all three bedrooms. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors open onto a spacious lanai with glass railings, the perfect spot for whale watching during the winter months or enjoying unforgettable sunsets. Elevated above the neighboring resort wings, this suite enjoys an unobstructed vantage point, enhanced by travertine floors, granite countertops, and rich wood cabinetry throughout.
Just next door, Suite 933 is a luxurious premier studio with panoramic ocean views that capture both of Maui’s neighboring islands, Lanai and Molokai. With only four of these 9th-floor studios in the entire resort, it’s a truly rare find.
Make every meal an experience with fully equipped kitchens, including professional-grade Viking appliances and a built-in wine cooler in Suite 929 to keep your selections at the ideal temperature.
Together, the two residences can comfortably host up to 12 guests. Each bedroom features a king-size bed, while both living areas include queen-size sofa sleepers. For added convenience, the king-size bed in the guest bedroom of Suite 929 can be split into two XL twin-size beds upon request.
Four spa-inspired bathrooms feature granite vanities, deep soaking tubs, and walk-in glass showers, ideal for refreshing after a long day at the beach or winding down in the evening.
Take pleasure in spending your days at the resort’s three-acre aquatic playground. With four separate swimming pools, a waterslide, waterfalls, fountains, and four hot tubs, there will be no shortage of options for you and your loved ones to enjoy.
When it is time for a bite to eat, Honua Kai is home to the popular Duke’s Beach House, which serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. Duke’s specializes in serving up Hawaiian-inspired cuisine using locally sourced ingredients and freshly caught seafood. Should you wish to enjoy a refreshment by the water, poolside service is available. For coffee, sandwiches, and other grab-and-go items, including beach gear and souvenirs, visit the Whalers General Store conveniently located in the Konea Tower lobby.
A state-of-the-art fitness center is located in the Konea Tower, perfect for guests looking to maintain their workout routine during their stay.
Should you feel like pampering yourself with a refreshing massage or treatment, head to the Mana Ola Spa. This sanctuary within the resort weaves Hawaiian-inspired themes and ingredients into its wide array of signature treatments. Revitalize your senses with a Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage, Pohaku Massage, or Purifying Ocean Mineral Facial.
If you wish to avoid excessive baggage fees from the airlines, consider packing lighter and utilizing the washer and dryer in the residence. Free upgraded 300 Mbps high-speed Wi-Fi is available and included with your stay. Complimentary booster seats, high chairs, and futons are also available upon request (based on availability).
Honua Kai occupies 38 pristine beachfront acres on the shores of Kaʻanapali’s North Beach, so you’ll literally be just steps away from the tranquility of Maui’s shoreline. Stroll out to the beach to touch your toes in the soft sand or take a refreshing dip in the Pacific Ocean. An “Ohana Play Package” including beach chairs, BBQ equipment, and a portable cooler is provided complimentary.

About the area
Lahaina, Hawaii, is a captivating destination that offers a rich blend of history, culture, and stunning natural beauty. Once the capital of the Hawaiian Kingdom and a bustling whaling port, today Lahaina is a charming town that retains its historical significance while providing all the amenities of a modern vacation spot.
The town's Front Street is a bustling thoroughfare, lined with an array of shops, art galleries, and restaurants. This oceanfront street has been named one of the "Top Ten Greatest Streets" by the American Planning Association. As you stroll down Front Street, the vibrant atmosphere is palpable, with the sounds of live music and the scent of Hawaiian cuisine filling the air.
Lahaina's history is on full display at the Lahaina Historic Trail, which features significant sites such as the Lahaina Banyan Court Park, home to one of the largest banyan trees in the United States. The Old Lahaina Courthouse and the Baldwin Home Museum offer glimpses into the town's past, while the Wo Hing Temple Museum showcases the influence of Chinese immigrants on the island.
For those who love the water, Lahaina is a gateway to some of Maui's best ocean activities. Whale watching tours are a must-do during the winter months when humpback whales migrate to the warm Hawaiian waters. Snorkeling and diving excursions to nearby spots like the partially submerged volcanic crater of Molokini offer encounters with vibrant marine life.
The town's beaches, such as Ka'anapali Beach and Baby Beach, provide perfect settings for sunbathing, swimming, and sunset viewing. Ka'anapali Beach, in particular, is famous for its daily cliff diving ceremony off the northernmost cliffs known as Puu Kekaa, or Black Rock.
Cultural experiences abound in Lahaina, with the Old Lahaina Luau being one of the most authentic luaus in Hawaii. Here, visitors can enjoy traditional Hawaiian food, music, and hula dancing under the stars. The Feast at Lele offers a more intimate luau experience with a sit-down dinner and performances that highlight the diverse cultures of the Pacific.
Lahaina's relaxed vibe, combined with its historical significance and natural beauty, makes it a destination that appeals to a wide range of travelers. Whether you're interested in Hawaiian history, looking for ocean adventures, or simply wanting to enjoy the island's laid-back lifestyle, Lahaina is a place that offers a memorable and enriching Hawaiian experience.
