Indivisible from the famous district of the Marais which also extends over most of the 4th arrondissement and which constitutes the quieter part, the 3rd arrondissement is one of the places of Paris the most pleasant to live, as long as you like calm. "Sophisticated village", the 3rd arrondissement contains several open-air markets, a huge covered flower market and numerous specialized food shops, notably along Rue de Bretagne.
