Seasonal Highlights
Spring Awakening (May 15 – June 15):
Yellowstone and Island Park emerge from winter’s rest with roaring waterfalls, lush greenery, and wildlife at their most active. Bison calves, elk, and moose are often spotted, and the rivers come alive with trout fishing. Days are cool and crisp—perfect for hiking uncrowded trails or cozy evenings by the fire after exploring the park.
High Summer (June 15 – Aug 15)
This is peak season at Pelican Point. Long, sunny days invite swimming, tubing, and boating right from your private dock. Evenings stretch late into the night with fiery sunsets and stargazing by the firepit. July 4th is unforgettable here—fireworks sparkle over the water and can be enjoyed from the deck, lawn, or dock. Fishing is excellent, and a drive up Sawtelle Peak reveals breathtaking panoramic views of the entire region.
Golden Serenity (Aug 15 – Sept 15)
As summer crowds fade, Pelican Point transforms into a sanctuary of calm. The lake grows still, making it ideal for kayaking, paddleboarding, and quiet mornings on the dock. School is back in session, so Yellowstone’s trails and boardwalks become peaceful again. The air is crisp, sunsets grow richer, and the first hints of autumn colors begin to spread through the mountains. It’s an especially romantic season for couples seeking tranquility.
Autumn Splendor (Sept 15 – Oct 15)

5 Star Reviews:
Stephen’s Experience: This place was everything I hoped it was and more. So many things to do and Bob was always responsive to any questions we had about local places to experience. My two daughters, granddaughter, wife, mom, and son-in-law all stayed here. We hiked in Yellowstone park, rented side-by-sides 4-wheelers in the forest, played countless games of pool and ping pong in the game room, had a nice boat dock so we could bring our boat for surfing, wakeboarding, and beautiful morning boat rides to the restaurant on the other side of the lake. Went fishing at Henry’s lake just up the road. So many memories that we will never forget in a place where I already miss having morning coffee on the patio enjoying the view.
Kendal’s Experience: This property is stunning! The home is decorated in upscale mountain decor. It is spacious, luxurious and equipped with everything you could need.
The outside was absolutely beautiful. A deck, patio, lawn, fire pit, grill private beach and boat dock in a mountainous surrounding. The outside amenities were probably the best part for us. A sunset boat ride and surfing ’on glass’ with a fiery sunset and full moon rising...amazing! Couldn’t be more beautiful!! This property is all you could want. Don’t miss the experience!
Kaylie’s Experience: This is THE place to stay if you plan on this area. Ideal location, great amenities, and well taken care of home. Love being on the lake, quiet mornings, fire pit in the evening, and beautiful view of the stars at night. Was just what we were looking for on our trip. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!
Kent’s Experience: This home was everything we expected and more! Spotless, huge open areas, the backyard is to die for, the views, and all the little details. Nothing goes unnoticed, every little detail is in place and accessible. We loved the gathering areas on every floor! The bedrooms and bathrooms are all equivalent, even the laundry room was luxury. Would highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed. Close to yellowstone, would highly recommend High Mountain Adventures right down the street, we drove miles and miles up and down mountains on Side by Sides, whole trip was amazing and this house was our favorite part! Thanks Again!
Wade’s Experience: We had a total blast here. We can’t imagine staying at a better place. The beach was amazing, the house was big and spacious. This was definitely a trip to remember and the whole family loved it.
