Villa Mare is situated on the southern side of the Pelješac peninsula, in the village of Potomje. The southern side is the most attractive because of the all-day sunshine and the view of some of the most beautiful Croatian islands - Korčula, Mljet and Lastovo. Villa Mare is a synonym for a dream villa. There is nothing you could need for an unforgettable vacation that you won’t find in this villa. Great location, first row to the sea, private beach, panoramic view of the sea, infinity pool... And we could go on forever. The villa can accommodate up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms and is ideal for a family vacation or a vacation with a group of friends. If you have a larger group in mind, don’t worry - right next to Villa Mare is Villa Luce, its „twin sister“ which can accommodate an additional 6 people.
The interior of Villa Luca is 226 m² and consists of 2 floors. On the ground floor there is a large, bright, open space consisting of a fully equipped kitchen with a large island, a dining room with 8 seats and a living room with TV. The space is completely oriented towards the sea to make the most of the view, and numerous balcony doors create the illusion of connection between the interior and the exterior. We believe that cooking and relaxing in such a space will be a real pleasure, and whatever you do, you will be able to keep your eyes on the most beautiful thing - the blue Adriatic.
On the 1st floor of the house there are 3 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, comfortable double beds and access to a balcony with sea views. In each room there are large wardrobes for storing clothes and SAT TV. All rooms are air-conditioned for a pleasant stay and maximum relaxation. In the bathrooms you will find towels and toiletries, so you don’t have to worry if you accidentally forget some.
In the courtyard of the villa, in addition to the spectacular view, there is a large infinity pool, and next to it, deck chairs to enjoy the warm Pelješac sun. In addition to the outdoor wellness, there is also an indoor spa with a Finnish sauna. If you are one of those people who like to stay in shape even on vacation, we’ve got you covered. Besides swimming in the sea and the pool, you can maintain good shape in the home gym. After that, you can play a game of billiards. Because why not? In the evening, gather your company or family on the outdoor terrace, prepare a barbecue and your favorite drinks, and create unforgettable memories that you will later share with all those who could not be with you.
Pelješac is a destination in itself that is well worth exploring. It hides numerous coves, sandy beaches, wineries, incredible viewpoints, all combined with a view of the beautiful Adriatic Sea. If you’re feeling adventurous, explore the peninsula on 2 wheels - you can rent 2 mountain bikes at the villa. This accommodation does not accept groups of young people (up to 25 years).

About the area
Korčula, an enchanting island located off the southern coast of Croatia in the Adriatic Sea, is a captivating destination that offers a rich blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. Known for its dense forests, hence the Greek name Korkyra Melaina meaning "Black Corfu," Korčula is a verdant oasis that beckons travelers seeking both relaxation and adventure.
The island's crowning jewel is Korčula Town, often referred to as "Little Dubrovnik" due to its medieval squares, churches, palaces, and stone houses, all encased within formidable defensive walls. The town's layout is a herringbone pattern, which was designed to reduce the effects of wind and sun, showcasing the ingenuity of past urban planners. Visitors can wander through the narrow streets, discovering hidden treasures and glimpses of its storied past at every turn.
Korčula is also reputed to be the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo, and history enthusiasts can explore the Marco Polo House, believed to be his ancestral home. The town's Marco Polo Museum adds an interactive dimension to his life and journeys, making it a fascinating stop for all ages.
The island's cultural heritage is further celebrated through traditional music and dance, with the Moreška Sword Dance being a particular highlight. This chivalrous dance, performed by local men, is a dramatic representation of the battles between the Moors and Christians and is a spectacle not to be missed.
For those drawn to the allure of the sea, Korčula's indented coastline offers secluded beaches, quiet coves, and crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and sailing. The nearby archipelago of small islets is ideal for day trips and exploration, providing a serene escape from the everyday.
Korčula's vineyards produce some of Croatia's finest wines, such as the white Pošip and Grk, which are best enjoyed at a local konoba (tavern) alongside fresh seafood and traditional Croatian dishes. The island's gastronomy is a delightful journey through the flavors of the Mediterranean, with olive oil, herbs, and local produce featuring prominently.
Active travelers can take advantage of the island's scenic landscapes by hiking or cycling through its lush countryside, offering panoramic views and a chance to connect with nature. The island's mild climate makes outdoor activities pleasant throughout much of the year.
In essence, Korčula is a microcosm of Croatian allure, offering a harmonious blend of history, culture, and the great outdoors. Its timeless charm and scenic beauty make it a destination that truly captures the heart of the Mediterranean.
