Home details
At the edge of the picturesque village of Neukirchen am Grossvenediger, you will find the Nationalpark Chalets, which include chalet Schlieferspitze. Fun fact: these chalets are named after one of the peaks of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Here, you can enjoy a comfortable holiday in the luxuriously furnished chalet, with accommodation for eight guests. From all floors of the chalet, each with a balcony or terrace, there is an unobstructed view to the south of the mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park, including the Großvenediger. In the large living/dining room, you have access to a spacious, covered terrace with a dining table and sun loungers. This room serves as the meeting place and focal point of the chalet for cozy evenings with family and friends. Decorated in an alpine-modern style, there is a comfortable seating area with a fireplace, a generous dining table, and a modern kitchen island. There is a separate TV room. Four bedrooms have a double bed, two of which have an en-suite bathroom. As a cherry on top, there is another bathroom with a Finnish sauna. The chalet is located at the top of the National Park Chalets in a quiet cul-de-sac. That promises you a relaxing holiday! In winter, you can store your skis and ski boots in the ski storage area when you enter Chalet Schlieferspitze. The valley descent of the Wildkogel Arena ski area passes Nationalpark Chalets, so you can get on the slopes quickly! At the bottom of the piste, you can reach the gondola with the ski bus that takes you to the top of the mountain or to one of the nearby ski areas: the Zillertal Arena or the Kitzbüheler Alpen. At the end of a day in the snow, you can relax in the seating area by the fireplace to chat about the adventures of the day. In summer, you can enjoy the outdoors late into the night on the covered terrace with an infrared patio heater or explore the Hohe Tauern National Park on the marked walking and cycling routes. For the children, there’s also a lot of fun to be had in the area! Take the gondola to the top of the mountain where a large playground can be found or stay closer to the chalet and relax around the natural lake at the reception area. The ’Nationalpark Sommercard’ is included with your stay and can be used for free summer activities.
