Welcome to Board’s Sunset Ranch, a lovingly restored historic 1930s cabin that was once the original Lower Board Ranch homestead. Set on two private acres in the Sawtooth National Forest, this mountain retreat blends Sun Valley history with modern comfort. With open mountain views and peaceful surroundings, you’ll feel worlds away, yet you’re only 1.5 miles from the base area of Bald Mountain and 3.5 miles from downtown Ketchum.
Inside, the cabin is warm and welcoming with a spacious entry area to store boots and jackets, and a comfortable living room designed for gathering. Curl up by the gas woodstove, watch a movie on the Smart TV with YouTubeTV, or pick a favorite from the shelves of books provided for all ages. Large windows frame stunning views of Baldy and the surrounding peaks, creating a backdrop that’s distinctly Sun Valley.
The fully equipped farmhouse-style kitchen is perfect for preparing meals together, featuring beautiful wooden countertops, plenty of prep space, and a dining table that seats six for shared meals or late-night board games. The back deck features a barbeque and a path to a small seating area, accessible only in the summer season.
3 Bedrooms – 2 Bathrooms – Sleeps 6 Guests
Board’s Sunset Ranch comfortably sleeps up to six guests in three bedrooms. The primary suite on the main level features a king bed, Smart TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and large closet space. The upper level is cozy with cottage-style ceilings and lots of charm! You’ll find a second king bedroom and a guest room with two twin beds. While there’s no central heat on this level, the heat rises from below and portable heaters keep the space warm and cozy throughout the winter months. A second bathroom with a tub/shower combo and a full washer/dryer are conveniently located downstairs for guests.
Stunning Sun Valley Setting
