Coastal Cottage 212 is one side of a charming duplex and is the perfect combination of beachside living and ocean views! Located on the ocean side of South Fletcher Avenue, you’re just one house back from the beach with direct access to the ocean right next to the property. Enjoy the sea breeze from the ocean view deck and patio which are equipped with a gas grill, a 4-person outdoor dining table, 4 Adirondack chairs, and a fully enclosed outdoor shower.
This beautiful beach-side home offers an open floor plan living area and kitchen that are perfect for entertaining. The living room has a sofa, an armchair, a dropleaf table that can accommodate 4 people, and a TV with cable & streaming capabilities. The full kitchen is stocked with all you need for a comfortable stay, from the stove and dishwasher to the microwave and refrigerator - you won’t miss a beat while preparing home-cooked meals for friends and family.
Coastal Cottage 212 is the perfect cozy getaway. Spacious and inviting, it features two delightful bedrooms. The master bedroom is outfitted with a luxurious king bed and a 50-inch TV with both cable & streaming capabilities, plus a comfortable seating area for reading and relaxation. The other bedroom provides a comfortable queen bed.
Coastal Cottage 212 offers everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable experience - fresh linens, a starter supply of housekeeping supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, basic toiletries, K-Cups, and trash bags are all included.
With phenomenal proximity to Main Beach, the downtown historic district, and Fort Clinch State Park, you can explore all that the island has to offer while still being able to come back and relax to the peaceful sound of the waves from your private ocean view deck. Dog-friendly for up to two dogs! We have a 50-pound weight limit per dog and all dogs must be approved prior to check-in. The pet fee is $250.
The other side of the duplex has the same layout and is also available to rent. There is a connecting door between the two sides that can be unlocked if both sides are rented by one group.
Neighborhood Overview:
Coastal Cottage 212 is ideally located on the north end of the island. It is within walking distance of Main Beach, Fort Clinch State Park, and the Egan’s Creek Greenway. It is also a quick drive to all of the island’s best dining and shopping in the downtown historic district.
A few blocks to the north, you will find Main Beach which features the Salt Life and Sandbar Kitchen restaurants, a playground, and beachside putt putt golf. From there, Amelia Island’s downtown historic district is just a short drive down Atlantic Avenue. There you will find plenty of wonderful restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and local culture. Fort Clinch State Park is also located along Atlantic Avenue. The park features the 19th century Fort Clinch (still open to the public for tours), a great beach, and lots of beautiful trails for hiking or biking.
The South end of the island boasts several wonderful restaurants, the Ritz and Property Manager resorts, a picturesque canopy biking trail, and charming local boutiques. We recommend checking out the Ritz spa if you are looking for a relaxing treat!
Getting Around:
Amelia Island is a small area and is easy to navigate! There is free parking available throughout the entire island, making driving very easy to any place you choose to visit.
Although Uber/Lyft are not very reliable on the island (we strongly recommend bringing a car), they are available through the app on your smartphone.
Bike rentals are available at "The Beach Store" located 2 miles south of Coastal Cottage 212. Riptide Watersports also delivers bikes.
