South Forest Beach is one of the best places to stay on Hilton Head Island. 404 Shorewood is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa that offers gorgeous ocean views. The gray hardwood floors in the hall and bedrooms look like driftwood and there are lots of beach decorations to make this truly feel like a beach vacation.
To the right of the entrance are the two bedrooms. The first has two twin beds and a 40” SMART TV and shares a bathroom with the hall. The bathroom has a single vanity and a tub/shower combo. The master suite has a king bed and 50” SMART TV. There are sliding doors that lead to a covered balcony looking out to the ocean and has a table with seating for four. The private bath has a single vanity and walk-in shower.
To the left of the entrance is the main living area with light hardwood floors. The galley style kitchen has stainless steel appliances. In the closet is a stackable washer and dryer. The dining room has a table that seats six. In the living room there is a gray queen sleeper sofa offering an extra sleeping area for guests. There is also a love seat, chair and 65” Samsung SMART TV with DVD player. Through the sliding glass door you have access to the covered balcony.
The Shorewood Complex is a short walk away from Coligny Plaza (60+ shops/restaurants and a grocery store). Be sure to visit the Lowcountry Celebration Park, which is just across the street. This new, 10-acre park features the Sandbox Children’s Museum, and the Adventure Playground, complete with a pirate ship and a wading pool!
The beautifully landscaped complex at Shorewood has an oceanfront pool with bathrooms nearby. There is also a baby pool for young ones to play in. Guests will enjoy that Shorewood is located very close to some great shopping, dining, and entertainment areas on Hilton Head Island.

Golf enthusiasts will find Hilton Head Island to be a haven with over 24 championship golf courses designed by renowned architects such as Robert Trent Jones Sr., Pete Dye, and Jack Nicklaus. The island's mild climate allows for golfing throughout the year.
The island's dedication to environmental preservation is evident in its nature reserves. The Sea Pines Forest Preserve offers walking trails through wetlands and forests where wildlife like alligators and various bird species can be spotted. Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge is another excellent location for hiking and wildlife viewing.
While the island's European settlement history spans only about 250 years, it has a rich cultural heritage that can be discovered at the Coastal Discovery Museum or on a Gullah Heritage Trail Tour where visitors can learn about the West African influenced Gullah culture of the island's early settlers.
Apart from being a vacation spot, Hilton Head Island also has a resident population with local businesses, schools, churches among other establishments. For shopping and dining experiences though, Harbour Town in Sea Pines Resort or Shelter Cove Towne Centre are recommended spots featuring an array of shops, restaurants and entertainment options.
