Welcome to the magnificent Villa Cashew located on a 1200 square meter plot of land only 6 minutes walk from Bingin Beach.
An exceptional villa with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms spread over several buildings arranged around one of the largest swimming pool in Bingin. A characterful decoration of chic and contemporary bohemian styles, furniture found on site, carved wooden ceilings and columns, Scandinavian design furniture mixed with traditional objects.
The space
Welcome to the magnificent Villa Cashew of 500 m2 of living space, located on a 1200 m2 plot of land, only 6 minutes walk from Bingin beach. Built on the Bukit peninsula at the southern tip of the Indonesian island, this property nestled in the greenery brilliantly blends ancestral architecture and contemporary elements in an eco-responsible spirit. A true haven of peace at the end of a dead-end paved road.
Behind the majestic wooden door carved from an ancient sultanate of Java, you discover an exceptional property of 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms distributed in four traditional houses found around Ubud and Java then restored and up-graded. They are arranged around a blue lagoon pool, one of the largest in Bingin, fed by a well or rainwater depending on the season.
In search of a place to live in osmosis with nature, the villas have been built to create a luminous continuity between the interior and exterior. Revisiting the Indonesian heritage, each house combines local craftsmanship and custom-made furniture with natural materials, traditional tiles, antique teak, glass, volcanic lava, black granite and wicker and woven straw.
A decoration mixing bohemian chic and contemporary style, traditional furniture found on the spot and in Java, Swedish design, custom-made furniture designed by Balinese craftsmen, ceilings and antique columns in carved teak wood.
As soon as you enter the villa, you will be touched by the harmony that reigns in this place, which is both open to the landscape and buried in the vegetation. In the center of a beautiful wooded area delicately perfumed and dotted with frangipani flowers, a huge turquoise pool of 20 by 4 meters, perfect for swimming, a shallow extension will delight children and adults. The pool is bordered by a deck and the four traditional houses are distributed on either side.
The main joglo of 170 m2 extended by the pool opens on a large space topped by a high frame. In the center, supported by 4 wooden columns, an antique coffered ceiling beautifully hand carved. At the back, the ultra-graphic teak and black granite kitchen, equipped with high-end equipment, combines with Balinese antiques that echo the island’s past.
The dining areas are spread out in different locations so you can choose between the large rectangular guest table, the round white marble table in the center of the carved columns or the black granite island surrounded by high tech stools. At the end of the day, enjoy the comfortable designer sofa or one of the traditional benches with mattresses and cushions to relax in the shade facing the turquoise pool.
Throughout Cashew Villa, special attention has been given to lighting, both in terms of the number and choice of lamps and hanging lights, and the possibility of varying the intensity of the lighting to create different atmospheres.
The bedroom located in the living space enjoys a magical view of the pool and the garden. A huge bay window makes it bright and thanks to the blackout curtains you can, if you wish, isolate yourself. This room is decorated in a refined and warm style, with parquet flooring and teak design storage, a double bed, tables and bedside lamps. It can be used as a bedroom or TV room, thanks to the large screen on the low cabinet facing the bed. The bathroom in mosaic and marble tiles is independent, it is accessed by a small patio that houses an authentic temple of fertility, it is equipped with a shower, a nice sink on foot, a mirror and toilet. Towels and pool towels are provided for all rooms.
Afterwards you can retire to the three houses scattered in the other corners of the garden. Each of these houses has its own furnished terrace (hammock, sofa, armchairs ...).
Each of these traditional houses has its own style, they are made of antique teak like all the floors, large windows make you live in an indoor-outdoor, as well as the comfortable bathrooms, partially open air and vegetalized. Each of these houses has its own terrace.
SANTOS: An old limassan of 70 m2transformed into a bright contemporary loft in teak, glass and waxed concrete of 70 m2. On one side, in the manner of an artist’s studio, the teak has been partially replaced by a glass façade full of vegetation. A soft waxed cement leads you to the dressing room and then to a black bathroom made of volcanic lava where a double sink and a double shower will add to the freedom of volume.
For your comfort, a kingsize bed, bedside tables and lamps, a large L-shaped designer sofa is combined with a large coffee table in Carrara marble and spotlights on the ceiling. The house has two fans, air conditioning and lighting fixtures attached to the high frame.
LOLITA : Opposite, enhanced by a green Java, behind a double palm tree, a small house of 110 m2 authentic teak, (found near Ubud), with bordered by a large terrace that invites to relax. Under straw suspensions, two large sofas, a wicker armchair and a hammock to enjoy the view of the garden in the shade.
A warm place and a little apart with two communicating rooms, two large dressing rooms and two bathrooms, one of which with a bathtub in reconstituted stone placed on a river pebble bed, an ideal place for a family with children.
The high white wood frame, the natural teak walls and parquet, the Balinese style objects and furniture, and the numerous light fixtures create a soft atmosphere. The two bedrooms have direct access to the terrace, one with a large double bed and the second with two single beds that can be moved closer together to form one bed or converted into a study. The two bathrooms are partly open-air.
AIR JOGLO: The 4th structure, with its 360 degree windows, is a typical modified Java house, named after the fact that it is located above the surrounding walls like a mirador overlooking the gardens, the landscape outside, the vast swimming pool combining Bali blue stone and black volcanic lava and offering a magical vision at night. The first floor is dedicated to a refined master room of 75 m2, the furniture being integrated into the structure. In the center, the king size bed is flanked by 4 imposing pillars supporting a sculpted dome which, itself, dramatically dimensions this volume. At the front, a large terrace overlooks the water with the wooded hills in the distance. At the back, the bathroom with double sink, shower, toilet and view on an adjoining garden.
Downstairs, 75 m2 of antique teak flooring, solid teak pillars offer an atypical volume conducive to the practice of yoga in the axis of the pool deck. To refresh you, you also have at this level, an external shower, a washbasin and toilets. A warm atmosphere emanates from this level thanks to the multitude of light fixtures, the light colors of the furniture and the teak.
Just a stone’s throw from the mythical waves, Villa Cashew is ideally located halfway between Bingin Beach and Dreamland. For surfing enthusiasts, right at the entrance, there is access to an outdoor shower and a large rack sheltered from the sun to store all the boards.
Near the pool, a turquoise beach to relax in the shade, and nearby an outdoor shower made of lava stone, to lie on the deck, deck chairs shaded by sweet-smelling frangipani trees.
You will stay in peace, the garden is closed with a secure entrance, the parking is private, the fiber offers a high speed wifi connection throughout the villa. All rooms are equipped with safes, air conditioning, fans, veils and blackout curtains.
Near this magical place, you will find many restaurants: Italian, Japanese, vegan, Indonesian, fusion food ..., some lounge bars, spas, gyms, pilates, boxing, yoga, gym ... some nice stores, concept shops, surf shops ...
For vacations with a large family or group of friends, Villa Cashew can be rented with the magnificent Villa Anouk, which the owners have designed and furnished with the same care and style. A very nice set of 7 rooms for 14 people in an exceptional setting for unforgettable vacations.
