DETAILS: Nestled in the serene Moonlight Basin neighborhood, this 3-story home spans 1,694 square feet and comfortably accommodates 13 guests in 3 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. This home offers easy ski-in/ski-out access in winter, and with only a 6-minute drive from Big Sky Resort, and a 5-minute drive to Beehive Basin Trailhead, endless opportunities for hiking and mountain biking in Summer.
Stepping into the great room, gorgeous natural lighting greets guests as it pours in through expansive picture windows that frame the breathtaking mountain views. The newly refinished living area offers a fresh and welcoming ambiance with plush furnishings, a 58” TV, and a wood-burning fireplace against stacked stone, evoking a cozy mountain retreat. Stunning wood cabinetry and a decorative backsplash adorn the gourmet kitchen, equipped with high-end appliances, a Keurig coffee maker, and tea kettle. Long benches accompany the traditional 8-person dining table, complemented by 2 additional seats at the breakfast bar. An upper-level deck overlooking beautiful scenery provides space to barbeque on the propane grill or soothe sore muscles in the private hot tub.
The first floor features a mudroom with benches and hooks for storing wet ski gear or dirty hiking boots, accessible via the back door. Spaced throughout this floor are 3 beautiful bedrooms—1 primary bedroom and 1 guest bedroom, both with king beds and private bathrooms, with the primary boasting a gas fireplace and patio. A bunk room completes this floor with a twin-over-twin and Captain’s bunk bed.
The third-floor loft offers an open gathering space with a 46” TV and DVD player, perfect for cartoons or movie nights, alongside additional open sleeping arrangements with 2 twin beds, 2 trundles, and a private bathroom.
9 Indian Summer is the perfect mountain getaway near Big Sky! With garage parking for 1 vehicle and 2 spots in the driveway, it’s easy to explore the area and Yellowstone National Park (1 hour). For ski-in/ski-out access, walk to Bootlegger Run at the cul-de-sac’s end and follow it to Iron Horse Lift and Moonlight Lodge. Continue on to Madison Village for lessons, or to Derringer and Six Shooter Lift for full mountain access. Return via Lazy Jack. Book today!
