This beautiful, fully renovated house, located in the heart of the Valbelluna with views of the Dolomites, will be your base for a holiday dedicated to relaxation, sports, and the discovery of a land rich in natural beauty—mountains, lakes, forests, and rivers—as well as history and art. From here you can easily reach the most beautiful Venetian cities: Belluno (2,5km), Venice (80 km), Treviso (50 km), Padua, Vicenza, and Verona, as well as many charming medieval towns such as Feltre, Mel, and Cison di Valmarino.
The house is sustainable semi-detached, with a garden shared with the owners, who are Aufguss masters. In the evening, after a day of hiking, cycling, or kitesurfing on nearby Lake Santa Croce (20 km), you can book a private sauna session with them. Guests have access to parking and a garage (ideal for storing up to 8 motorcycles/bicycles as well) with direct entry to a laundry area with bathroom and shower. The sauna and its relaxation/herbal tea area are accessible from outside and only upon reservation.
The area offers countless hiking opportunities, some starting right from the house: the Buzzati Trail, the Costa Trail, and the Valmorel Loop will take you through the gentle green hills that separate Valbelluna from the Venetian plain. Looking north, the Dolomites offer more challenging routes and, in winter, ski slopes—from family-friendly ones on Mount Nevegal to the spectacular runs of the Dolomiti Superski area.
The garden is fully fenced. The owners have a dog and a cat. Your pet is welcome only upon request and if it can coexist peacefully with other animals.
The wellness area (with sauna, relaxation loungers, shower, changing room, and herbal tea corner) including the Aufguss (sauna ritual) is available to guests for a duration of 3 hours, by reservation only (and for a fee). Children under the age of 16 are not permitted.
For stays longer than 15 days: linen change + extra cleaning required at a cost of €50
During the Winter Olympics, there will be a shuttle service to Cortina departing from Longarone. House Martina is located just 20 km from the shuttle departure point.
Services: The wellness area (with sauna, relaxation loungers, shower, changing room, and herbal tea corner) and the aufguss (sauna ritual) will be available to guests for a duration of 3 hours and only by reservation (and for a fee).

Separated by the entrance hallway, there are two double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with shower and a small terrace overlooking the Dolomites. One of the rooms has been designed to be accessible for guests with disabilities. Upstairs, in the attic, there is a bathroom and two additional bedrooms. Underfloor cooling and heating.

About the area
Belluno, Italy, is a hidden gem nestled in the Dolomites, part of the Southern Alps, and offers a serene escape with its enchanting mountain landscapes and charming historic center. This picturesque town is the perfect base for outdoor enthusiasts and those seeking a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of Italy's more frequented tourist destinations.
The town itself is steeped in history, with its narrow cobbled streets, elegant palazzos, and beautiful churches, such as the Cathedral of Belluno with its Renaissance façade and the Church of Santo Stefano, boasting impressive artworks. The historic center, characterized by its Venetian-style architecture, reflects the area's past under the Republic of Venice.
Surrounding Belluno, the majestic peaks of the Dolomites offer a playground for adventurers. In the warmer months, hikers and climbers are drawn to the region for its well-marked trails, via ferratas, and breathtaking vistas. The Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and provides a sanctuary for a diverse range of flora and fauna, as well as opportunities for nature walks and wildlife spotting.
During winter, the snow-covered mountains transform into a wonderland for skiing, snowboarding, and other winter sports. The nearby ski resorts, such as Nevegal, cater to all levels of expertise and offer stunning alpine views.
For those interested in cultural experiences, Belluno hosts several festivals throughout the year, celebrating everything from its alpine heritage to local gastronomy. The town's museums, like the Civic Museum, offer insights into the region's art, history, and traditions.
Gastronomy in Belluno is a delightful fusion of Alpine and Venetian influences, with polenta, cheeses, and game featuring prominently on menus. Local specialties such as casunziei, beet-filled ravioli, and pastin, a spiced meat patty, are must-try dishes. The region is also known for its excellent dairy products, and a visit to a local caseificio (cheese factory) is a delicious way to experience the local culture.
Belluno's relaxed pace of life, combined with its stunning natural beauty and rich cultural offerings, makes it an ideal destination for travelers looking to immerse themselves in the authentic charm of Northern Italy. Whether you're seeking outdoor adventure, historical exploration, or simply a peaceful retreat amidst beautiful surroundings, Belluno welcomes you with open arms and an array of experiences to cherish.
