BEAR-FRIENDLY RULES - VERY IMPORTANT
Visiting Lake Tahoe means you are entering Bear Country. While fun, we need to be extra careful with our trash and our respect for their environment. Bears get hungry, therefore if you have trash, ALWAYS utilize the bear box and keep the house free of excess trash. If you fail to use the bear box, you will be charged for excessive trash. This is for your safety and the safety of the bears. If you cannot fit your trash in the bear box outside, please take it with you. We appreciate you being careful.
Please DO NOT PARK or BLOCK the area in front of the bear box at any time. This area must remain clear so the trash service can access and empty the bins as scheduled.
Blocking the bear box may result in missed trash pickup. Thank you for helping us keep the area clean and wildlife-safe!
FIRES
Lake Tahoe is an incredible place and we want to make sure it stays that way. Please remember, fireworks are illegal. Never set off any fireworks while staying in Lake Tahoe. Please remember, no open fires are permitted on the property, no exceptions.
