Welcome to Purple Duck!
NEW TO KEES for 2025! Your beach vacation awaits at Purple Duck in the highly sought Poteskeet Community right in downtown Duck Village. Walk or ride your bike to the beach access which is located less than a half a mile away.
This pet-friendly vacation rental has plenty of space for the whole family. The most difficult decision you will have to make is whether to spend your evenings on the peaceful third level deck or the screened-in porch in between the deck and the living area. The deck includes a picnic table, loungers, and 2 chairs with ottomans.
Walk inside and you’ll find a spacious living area with a large flat-screen tv, a large dining table for everyone to enjoy their meals together, and an adorable kitchen with three bar seats. The chef will never be left out of conversations! The living area with plenty of places to sit includes huge windows letting in that OBX sunshine. For additional space, those who prefer a little quiet time can take their book up to the loft which is off the living area.
There is a King En Suite on this level as well. The bathroom in the King En Suite does also have an entrance from the hallway. For those who may not pack lightly, they will enjoy the large closet in this bedroom.
As you venture down to the second level, you’ll notice the huge window along the landing. Again, allowing more brightness to shine in. Off the main front door of the home with dual staircase, more sleeping arrangements can be found on this second level. Guests can choose between the Queen En Suite, the Queen Bedroom, or the bedroom with two twin beds. All bedrooms have ceiling fans for extra comfort. There is a shared full bathroom on this level which can be accessed from both the Queen bedroom, or the hallway. For even more fun, grab your favorite beverage and go out on the second level deck.
For those that want clean clothes while on vacation, on the first level, you will find a washer and dryer along with the entry off the carport. The covered car port allows cars to be parked for easy unloading and loading. A few beach chairs for guest access and a charcoal grill round out the amenities of this vacation property.
As mentioned above, you will be just minutes from the quaint Duck Town Park Boardwalk, stroll down to relax among gorgeous sound-side sunsets, or experience some award-winning local cuisine and shops on the stunning waterfront.
This property has 4 parking spots for guests.
Purple Duck is pet-friendly, so there is no need to leave your pooch at home! For a small one-time fee of $135, you can bring up to two dogs to our pet-friendly property. No cats or other animals, dogs only.
