Transit You can reach Carvoeiro in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and a car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train, it will take about 2 to 3 hours. Although public transport is available and will definitely get you around, it is limited. If you plan on exploring the general Algarve area, a (hire) car is recommended.
