Vale de Agua is a private and quiet holiday home open for guests who look for a modern and tasteful place with stunning views in one of Europe’s most beautiful regions - close to its amazing and dramatic coastline with mind-boggling untouched beaches.
If you are looking for a private spacious holiday home with all modern amenities, situated on a 55 ha estate with a large natural pond, a private lake, natural forest as well as pine and oak plantations, close to some of Portugal’s best but uncrowded beaches with excellent surfing conditions and amazing restaurants and seafood - then this may be just the right place for you.

The overall design follows the traditional Alentejo architecture and naturally fits into the surrounding nature and landscape. The inside of the house is open, modern and minimalistic with light colors, large windows, wooden floors and modern furniture. The 300 sqm main house has 4 double bed-rooms and 4 bathrooms (3 ensuite), 90 sqm open living/dining/kitchen space, a separate 20 sqm TV lounge, 50 sqm office and a large (partially covered) terrace opening to the newly landscaped garden.

Vale de Agua is located just 1km north of Aljezur, 1km east of the Natural Park Costa Vicentina ("Parque Natural Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina"), 5km away from the Atlantic Ocean and close to the amazing beaches of Arrifana (8km), Amoreira (10km), Amado (20km), Bordeira (19km), Cordoama (35km), Monte Clérigo (10km), and - our favorite - Odeceixe (15km), as well as numerous smaller beaches
And if you do crave city life at some point, the city of Lagos is only 35 minutes away.
Transit
From Faro Airport, it takes you about 80 minutes by car to get to Aljezur. If you want to explore the area, a car is recommended as public transport is only available to Aljezur town but not up to our home. Parking is free and abundant everywhere in this area.
