This modern and well-equipped apartment, located in the city of Funchal, offers all the comfort needed for a relaxing and convenient stay. It consists of a suite with a double bed and a private bathroom, a second bedroom with a double bed, and a full guest bathroom, making it perfect for families or small groups. From the living room, you have access to a private balcony, ideal for moments of relaxation. The kitchen is fully equipped for meal preparation, and there is a practical laundry area for added convenience. AREA The property is located near the Fortaleza de São João Baptista do Pico and a playground with a cozy bar/café. A few minutes’ walk will take you to the center of Funchal, the capital of Madeira Island. Nearby, you’ll find must-visit places such as the Museu das Cruzes and its Miradouro das Cruzes, the Convento de Santa Clara, and the Universo de Memórias de João Carlos Abreu. Shopping centers, supermarkets, pharmacies, hairdressers, retail stores, and other services are within walking distance. The city center offers a variety of activities to suit all preferences—cultural experiences, adventure sports, or nature-related activities, whatever your reason for visiting Madeira Island. GETTING AROUND The best option to reach the property is by transfer. Let us book one with our local partners for you—it’s cheaper than the taxis available at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app will easily find the address. A bus stop is just a 2-minute walk from the apartment. ACCESS TO PROPERTY You will have access to all areas of the property. INTERACTION We are always available to assist or answer any questions. We will do our best to accommodate all requests. We also provide an app for guests with all essential information about the property and other useful details for your stay. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid identification document (e.g., passport, ID card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not scheduled at least 48 hours prior to arrival, guests will be subject to our team’s availability. - All bed linens and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a high chair, and a baby bathtub if needed. A first-aid kit, fire extinguishers, and a fire blanket are available in all properties. ATTENTION Please note that a Tourist Tax will be charged to all guests staying in the municipality of Funchal. A fee of €2.00 per person/per night applies to all guests aged 13 and over, up to a maximum of €14.00 per person per stay (7 nights maximum).
