Located on the south coast of Madeira, in the Arco da Calheta, the property offers you a perfect setting for those who like to contemplate the grandeur of the ocean, accompanied by a good book, music or a witty glass of Madeira wine.
With a pleasant garden, you can enjoy your sunbathing while the family prepares the barbecue for a delicious outdoor meal.
Inside you will find a cozy living room, ideal for more intimate moments. With three bedrooms, two with double bed and one with two single beds, the house also have two full bathrooms and a service one. The property has a maximum capacity of six people.
The kitchen is fully equipped and the villa has all the necessary amenities. It also has a parking place in front of the property.
The owners live in the house next to the Southern Sunny House.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
Situated in the west, this house is in the most sun-exposed area of the Island of Madeira.
About 5 minutes drive away is the centre of Calheta where you will find the yellow sand beach, several restaurants and a supermarket.
Calheta has the Museum of Contemporary Art, a fantastic architectural masterpiece.
Jardim do Mar and Paúl do Mar are a 10-minute drive away. These two small villages offer beach, animation and very own beauty.
Closer, in the vicinity, you will find small bars/restaurants and grocery stores.
GETTING AROUND
We recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get to the house. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi by your own in the airport!

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
-Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Calheta. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card).
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher and fire blanket are available in all properties.
