Parmaranta sits quietly by Lake Näsijärvi, offering a laid-back stay where forest views, water access, and gentle comfort come together. Once home to a simple red summer house, the property has been thoughtfully rebuilt into a year-round base with three bedrooms, two saunas, and a terrace overlooking the lake. Guests can swim, paddle, or enjoy long meals outside—while Tampere and Ylöjärvi remain close for exploring beyond the shoreline.
The interior of Parma balances easy functionality with a clean, relaxed style. The main house includes three bedrooms—two with double beds and one with two singles—comfortably sleeping up to eight guests with the addition of a sofa bed in the living room. Large windows frame views towards the lake and forest, bringing natural light into the open-plan living and dining areas.
The fully equipped kitchen includes an induction stove, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, and a filter coffee maker. A long dining table and kitchen island provide space for shared meals, while the adjoining terrace extends the living area outdoors.
The house features two bathrooms, one with double sinks and a rain shower, and the other with a washing machine and drying rack. Guests can choose between two types of sauna: a modern electric sauna inside the house or a separate, wood-heated lakeside sauna with its own deck and lounge area.
Outdoors, there’s room to sit by the firepit, grill, or take in the lake view from the edge of the pier. Swimming, paddling, and rowing are easy options from the private shoreline, with forest paths nearby for walks at any time of year.
Parma is located in the Ylöjärvi region, about 25 minutes from the city of Tampere and 15 minutes from local services in Elovainio. Restaurants like Villa Vino and Mutalan Helmi, along with summer cafés and a petting zoo, offer nearby outings. Despite the peaceful setting, access is straightforward by car, and local history—such as the former Steamer Kuru pier—adds a layer of interest to the landscape.
