Endless outdoor and water activities offer something for everyone. Indian Pass is best known for its fishing, but it’s also a fantastic place to go crabbing, shelling, or bird-watching. It’s not uncommon to see an eagle soaring overhead or a pod of dolphins out on the water. Take a ferry from the boat ramp to St. Vincent Island for a chance to spot an endangered species like a loggerhead turtle, gopher tortoise, or even a red wolf. Port St. Joe is 13 miles in one direction, and Apalachicola is 17 miles in the other. Apalachicola is another eclectic small Florida town known for its oysters, excellent live music, eclectic art galleries, and boutique shops.
