The Neighborhood
In the southern half of downtown, there’s Barrio de la Noria, a quiet, residential area lined with colorful, single-story houses, and family-run Oaxaca restaurants. While Oaxaca City is a fun, festive place, it is also quite loud. If you want to stay in the downtown area, but long for a relaxing night’s sleep, La Noria is a better option than Santo Domingo — which is definitely on the loud side. Barrio de la Noria borders downtown to the southeast, and spans the area along Calle la Noria. In Barrio de la Noria, you’re still within walking distance of the all top Oaxaca attractions, including the Zocalo, which is a 10-15 minute walk while still being able to get away from the busyness of it all when you desire.

Payment & Cancellation - 14 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 14 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund.
