Contemporary alpine design with a Scandinavian style inspired by the mountain spirit, Chalet Northern Lights evokes a feeling of simplicity, harmony, and warmth. It was born in 2020 from an innovative eco-sustainable project in the hamlet of Crepen, a reserved and perfect context for a "walking distance" mountain holiday. You can reach the slope and the Valtournenche cable car starting from the private road in front of the house which leads directly to the ski lifts; or along the naturalistic path, you can reach the town center in 4 minutes. There are numerous walking paths that branch off from the house. Arranged on two levels of 80 square meters with an independent entrance, it offers a modern equipped kitchen, heated floors, an air recycling system and a ski room with an electric boot dryer. The garden and outdoor area are equipped with deckchairs, a BBQ, a dining area, a terrace, and a private parking area. Thanks to the large floor-to-ceiling window, which offers a spectacular view of the mountains and the surrounding nature, you will think you are immersed in a Thomas Kinkade painting!
Internal area
The chalet is self-catered for exclusive use and suitable for up to 6 guests (recommended for 4 adults and 2 children).
The entrance opens directly into the open-plan living area: a relaxing living area with a corner sofa bed and smart TV (Netflix) and an equipped kitchen with a comfortable dining area for up to 6 people. The kitchenette is complete with an induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, small single-door fridge with freezer, Nespresso, kettle, and toaster. The bathroom, with a spa effect, offers a bathtub/shower cabin (80L boiler with booster mode), heated floors, heated towel rack and bidet. In the room before there is a washing machine/dryer, a shoe rack, a shelf for helmets, and drawers for gloves and ski goggles.
The sleeping area is spread over two levels: the master suite on the ground floor adjacent to the living area offers a double bed (160x190) with mirrored wardrobe and a smart working area with a mini fridge. The attic on the upper floor, accessible with a particular design staircase, offers an intimate and bright quadruple bedroom. There are glass surfaces that blend the external and internal environment and a spectacular velux skylight above the bed with a unique view of the starry sky and the mountains. The room is complete with a double bed (160×190 cm) and two single beds (90x190 cm), a wardrobe, luggage rack, smart TV corner, and a children’s play area. Both sleeping areas have blackout curtains.
Outside Area
The outdoor area offers a comfortable ski box area with an electric boot dryer, ski rack, and wardrobe for ski equipment. For your relaxation, you can choose from multiple outdoor areas: a small terrace facing the valley, perfect for an après-ski face-to-face with the surrounding landscape. On the entrance side, a paved area with BBQ, dining table, and deck chairs, while in front of the house, you will find a large, slightly sloping garden. On the street level, private outdoor parking welcomes you with a parking space and access stairway to the lower level where the Chalet begins.
