Welcome to Twin Lakes Retreat! This beautifully remodeled one-bedroom condo near Mt. Baker, Washington, offers a serene and elegant escape, ideal for those seeking both relaxation and adventure. The Pacific Northwest is the ideal place to bring a sense of equanimity to your vacation and delve back into nature. Snowater Community Club has 2 club houses available to guests that includes 2 heated indoor year-round pools with Jacuzzi hot tubs, a Cedar Sauna, Workout Room with free weights and machines, Children’s Playroom, Billiards and Ping Pong game room, Squash and Racquetball courts, Basketball and Tennis courts (seasonal), Playground, covered picnic area with propane BBQs, and an outdoor gas firepit. Throughout this 20-acre mountain paradise, is numerous charcoal BBQ’S for grilling, paths and trails for hiking and access to 1,000+ feet of Nooksack Riverfront.
*Snowater Resort has four EV chargers available for owners and guests. This is offered for a $10/per charge fee. Please arrange use of the charger with the Snowater Resort office.
Important Notes:
Nature: This home is located in a rainforest near the base of a mountain. We have critters both large and small that we share the land with. From Ants to bats, mice and raccoons to Bears and Bobcats, we do everything possible to keep them outside. Please do not leave food or garbage outside, as it looks like a free meal for the wildlife.
Technology:WiFI and Cellular Service: Due to the remote location, cable TV, cellular service, and high-speed internet can be unreliable. The home has free WIFI and a smart TV for streaming your favorite subscription channels. There’s also cell phone service near Mt Baker ski area. Wi-Fi is DSL and ranges between 4-9 mbps depending on the time of day and how many people are online. **Internet service in the Mt. Baker area experiences intermittent outages and these circumstances are beyond our control. Our area is limited to one service provider and we appreciate your understanding with the following policy: We are unable to offer a refund for accommodations based on WIFI outages, speed or disruptions.
Weather: The mountains provide us with so much to offer, but predictable weather is not one of them. Please be prepared for all types of severe weather from excess heat in the summer to heavy rains in the Spring & Fall and Snow and Ice in the winter. It is highly recommended that you bring a 4-wheel or All wheel drive vehicle in the winter. Due to the potential harsh weather, power outages and internet outages happen from time to time and are out of our control. We do not issue any refunds for loss of power or internet. Please prepare for all types of weather when visiting the mountains.
Groceries: Large grocery runs should be done in Bellingham (about 45 min away). There are a handful of small mom and pop grocery stops along Mt Baker Highway and we are happy to make recommendations. Restaurants are extremely limited and are not always open during the slower seasons. Please come prepared with provisions.
Parking:
Property Manager is required to register ALL vehicles that will be staying on the Snowater property. You will be given a parking permit for each registered vehicle. You will need to provide your vehicle(s) Color, Make, Model and license plate # for registration.
