When you do want to explore, you’re just a short drive from local favorites like Carver’s Orchard, ziplining adventures, whitewater rafting on the Pigeon River, and the Appalachian Trail. This is an ideal spot for nature lovers, hikers, and anyone looking to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with the outdoors. A vehicle is recommended to fully enjoy the area. The lodge is easily accessible by paved roads and offers private parking for up to 4 vehicles. LIVING ROOM: Cozy mountain-view living room with a roaring stone fireplace, vaulted exposed beams, plush sectional, and smart TV—perfect for relaxing evenings. KITCHEN: Sunlit modern kitchen with warm wood cabinetry, granite island, stainless appliances, and large windows framing lush greenery. Features Description: • Age: All guests must be 21 years or older with the exception of children with their parents. • Weather: No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are outside our control. Please purchase travel insurance for coverage. • Trash: There are outdoor trash cans in bear proof containers. Please do not leave any trash outside of these cans as wildlife will rummage through it. • Pet-Friendly: We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs with prior approval. A $150 non-refundable pet fee applies. Please keep pets off furniture and crated if left unattended. • Check-In/Check-Out: Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability. Fees apply and vary depending on the requested time, with a starting fee of $60. We may not always be able to accommodate these requests—please message us in advance for details. • Please bring your personal toiletries like toothpaste, deodorant, etc. A starter supply of the items listed above will be provided. We use commercial-grade antimicrobial agents and ensure that bed sheets and bath towels are professionally laundered between each guest stay. • However, it’s important to note that we cannot guarantee that our properties are ’completely sterile’ or ’COVID-free,’ just as no other business can reasonably make that claim. Guests are advised to travel and stay with us at their own discretion. • We do not offer rescheduled stays or refunds for cancellations outside of OTA’s extenuating circumstances policy. We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance at the time of booking if you are concerned about the possibility of canceling your trip last minute. Travel insurance is affordable and provides excellent protection against unforeseen cancellations. • We understand that last-minute cancellations can be challenging for guests who choose not to purchase travel insurance.
