LOCATION, LOCATION! The Alpen Haus is the perfect getaway for those that want to enjoy Big Bear in all seasons. Enjoy the cool air with a walk in the woods to view the magnificent trees. Skip the parking chaos & charges because you can walk to Big Bear Mtn from this home. You can also get an easy jump on your bike or hiking adventure in the spring & summer from this home. This home is the perfect mountain getaway for relaxation and adventure.
Master Bedroom: Situated on the second floor, the master bedroom boasts a queen-sized bed and a Smart TV for streaming.
Bedroom Two: Positioned on the third floor, this bedroom offers a double bed and a Smart TV for streaming.
Bedroom Three: Also on the third level, this bedroom features a full bed, a twin bed, and a trundle that pulls out into another single bed.
Game Room: Our game room is an ideal spot for entertainment, equipped with a Smart TV, pool table, arcade-style Pacman+ console, washer/dryer, and a fireplace. Please keep in mind the pool table is currently not available.
Outdoor Space: Experience our enchanting outdoor area, designed for both relaxation and enjoyment, complete with a hot tub, sauna, propane BBQ, firepit and ample outdoor seating.
Location: 10 minute walk to clip in or 5 minute drive to drop off the mountain enthusiasts on the Easy Street run on Bear Mountain. The rest of the family can watch the action from the side of the ski hill. There is also a free shuttle from Big Bear Mountain base to Summit if the skiers and snowboarder want to change the scenery. Conveniently located close to Big Bear Mountain, on the Emergency Exit Road which means this area is often cleared by the snow plows first. In the summer, take the bike right from the home and head up to the N2N1 on the dirt trails. Road cycling is also epic in this area, with the 7000 ft elevation and hills, you can surely get in the king of the mountain feel. The owners can provide you with Strava maps if requested.
