The Property Manager team’s opinion - Competent skiers staying at Chalet Alti can ski down through the garden to the bottom of the telecabins in Grand Bornand. The kids floor is a great bonus to groups on holiday with children and adolescents, there are nice decorative and design touches throughout and the layout over three floors ensures everyone has plenty of space. This property is appealing on many levels: the quality of the work, materials used, design and finishes, the extra luxury touches, the facilities, and the outdoor living spaces as the indoors all add up to make a splendid property. The chalet sits beautifully in the landscape; when indoors the outdoor spaces with spectacular views of the Aravis are part of the landscape of each room, views are open, the outdoor spaces are not overlooked, the chalet sits above open meadows. In fact in it’s great location, and special extra facilities such as the sheltered outdoor lounge, and the fabulous open air jacuzzi room Chalet Alti is a great place to stay all year round. Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included. Please note: although competent skiers can ski down the garden to access the telecabin at Grand Bornand, guests would normally take the ski bus to get to and return from skiing. Even if you ski down the garden at the beginning of the day, the walk back up to the chalet at the end of the day is quite steep. IMPORTANT: Pets are NOT welcome at the chalet. Use of Jacuzzi:- Children under the age of 12 must not use the jacuzzi for safety reason.- Children aged between 12 and 18 must always be accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for them.- For optimum safety, the protective cover should be replaced between every use of the spa to avoid a child getting into it unseen. Use of Sauna: Children under the age of 18 must not use the sauna for safety reason. SECURITY DEPOSIT We require a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage.
