The Property Manager team’s opinion –
Chalet Roche de Pierre is a three-storey, detached chalet for eight, just outside the village of Saint-Jean-d’Aulps, and 700m from the nearest ski lift.
With wonderful views, a hot tub, sauna and spacious terraces, it’s a great place to enjoy this wonderful area. The popular resort of Morzine is just 9km away, with links to the other Portes du Soleil resorts.
In the summer, the lake at Montriond is a great day out, with walking trails, watersports and restaurants.
Chalet Roche de Pierre has four bedrooms – two double rooms with a shared balcony, a twin room and a large double room with an en-suite shower room. There’s a shared bathroom on the top floor and another shower room with the sauna on the lower ground floor.
The open-plan living area makes the most of the great mountain views, with three sets of doors opening onto the furnished, wraparound terrace. Back inside, the cosy seating area is a great place to watch TV in front of the pellet stove, or you could curl up with a book in the reading corner. The compact kitchen has all the equipment you need to cook up a feast, and there’s a dishwasher too.
This traditionally-styled chalet is set well back from the road, but still gives you great access to all the local facilities. It’s a great choice for a group who are looking for a quiet base, spectacular views and great mountain sports on their doorstep.
Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.
