A short stroll leads you to the Tonnara di Scopello, a historic tuna fishery offering astonishing views of the sea and its famous faraglioni (rocky stacks). Don’t miss the chance to swim in the crystal-clear waters of the nearby coves, especially the enchanting Cala Mazzo di Sciacca. On the way here, you can also pick up fresh groceries and essentials in one of the small supermarkets. Bordering Scopello, the Zingaro Nature Reserve is a haven for nature lovers and hikers. With its unspoiled landscapes, hidden coves, and rich biodiversity, it’s an impeccable spot for trekking, bird watching, or simply soaking in the serene beauty of nature. Further along the coast but only a 1-hour drive, San Vito Lo Capo beckons with its stunning beach, renowned as one of the most beautiful in Italy. Its white sands and turquoise waters create a tropical paradise, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports. The town itself, with its whitewashed buildings and laid-back atmosphere, is a delightful mix of Mediterranean and Arab influences, evident in its architecture and cuisine.
