Outside, enjoy the sprawling backyard, private hot tub, and easy access to lake amenities. To enhance your stay, we’ve included a stocked coffee bar, a kayak, SUP board, and water mat so you can explore the lake at your own pace. You’ll also have private access to a covered boat slip at the community dock, located just 0.25 miles from the home. Whether you’re seeking relaxation or adventure, Tucked Away on the Ridge offers everything you need for an unforgettable lake escape. ** IMPORTANT: Lake Access Disclosure: ** Our home sits right on beautiful Lake Barkley, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. However, please note that there is no traditional beach or cleared waterfront access directly on the property. While you may be able to wade into the water, lake access from the property is partial and can be impacted by weather—especially after storms, which often wash logs and natural debris onto the shoreline. For swimming and easy water access, guests are welcome to use the community boat dock located within the neighborhood, just 0.25 miles away. It’s a perfect spot for swimming, launching a kayak, or simply relaxing by the lake. We want you to have an amazing stay and appreciate your understanding as nature takes its course! Features Description: • Age: All guests must be 18 with the exception of children with their parents. • Weather: No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are outside our control. Please purchase travel insurance for coverage. • Trash: As you check out, kindly ensure no trash or food is left outside the home—use only the designated cans. • Pets: Pet-friendly stay – $200 for up to 2 dogs • Check-In/Check-Out: Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability. Fees apply and vary depending on the requested time, with a starting fee of $60. We may not always be able to accommodate these requests—please message us in advance for details. • Please bring your personal toiletries like toothpaste, deodorant, etc. A starter supply of the items listed above will be provided. Guests will provide their own supplies after depleting the starter supply of these items. ******************Please Note******************** • No smoking • No parties • We can host a maximum of 13 guests (including all adults, children & infants)- for safety (fire & insurance) reasons, we cannot hold any additional guests. • All amenities including outdoor furniture, wifi, etc are fully inspected prior to every check-in, however, we cannot guarantee their working condition during stays. • We look forward to hosting all of our upcoming guests. Our cleaning team is going above and beyond to provide top-notch services, with special attention given to high-touch areas. We use commercial-grade antimicrobial agents and ensure that bed sheets and bath towels are professionally laundered between each guest stay. • However, it’s important to note that we cannot guarantee that our properties are ’completely sterile’ or ’COVID-free,’ just as no other business can reasonably make that claim. Guests are advised to travel and stay with us at their own discretion. • We do not offer rescheduled stays or refunds for cancellations outside of OTA’s extenuating circumstances policy. We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance at the time of booking if you are concerned about the possibility of canceling your trip last minute. Travel insurance is affordable and provides excellent protection against unforeseen cancellations. • We understand that last-minute cancellations can be challenging for guests who choose not to purchase travel insurance. However, we must uphold our owners’ cancellation policies to protect their primary source of income and maintain their properties in business.
