Hillside Silo House is located on 20 acres of land just below Emigrant Peak along the Absaroka Mountain Range. This home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and also features a Guest Suite with one bedroom and one bathroom. This rental is perfect for families traveling together or a big family needing extra space. The home is a halfway point between Livingston and Gardiner, with lots of treasure spots to enjoy along the way, from Chico Hot Springs to Dude Ranches. With incredible views surrounding this property, your stay here will create memories you’ll want to revisit each summer.
Before entering the home, you are graced with a covered porch with rocking chairs perfect for enjoying the summer air or star-gazing at night. Inside the house, you have a spacious open-concept living area with expansive windows to allow in the natural light. The living room features a few different sofas for you to get cozy on and enjoy family movie night. Please note fires are prohibited in the fireplace. Beyond the living room is a kitchen/ dining area. The kitchen has beautiful wooden cabinetry with updated appliances and a lot of counter space. There is bar seating for three people or a dining room table for six people. Located off the dining room is access to the back deck, where there is ample seating along the railings or at the table, which has seating for four people. There is also a grill for you to cook your meals outside. A hot tub is also on the back deck for ultimate relaxation.
Back inside, there are two bedrooms located on the main level. The first bedroom consists of a queen-size bed, and the second bedroom has two twin beds, with both rooms having gorgeous views of the valley. Next to the bedrooms is a laundry closet and a full-size bathroom.
Upstairs is a loft area with a workspace desk, the primary bedroom, and a bathroom. The primary bedroom is a spacious room with a king-size bed and a private balcony with seating to enjoy your morning cup of coffee. The upstairs bathroom is a shower/ tub combo perfect for relaxing and taking a bath.
From the house, make your way over to the Guest Suite, which is located above the garage. Unfortunately, the garage is not accessible, but there is a staircase to the side that provides entrance into this space. The Guest Suite is one big open room with a full kitchen, dining room, bedroom, and bathroom. The kitchen has updated appliances and lots of counter space. The dining room has a table with seating for four people with incredible views of Paradise Valley. The bed is a queen-size bed with a TV to watch a movie and an open storage area to place your clothes.
This is the perfect summer house to enjoy the best activities in Paradise Valley. Livingston has great restaurants and shopping, while Gardiner has premier access to Yellowstone National Park. Take time to enjoy nature and the scenery during your stay. Look out for the Milky Way at night or Elk grazing along the river during the day. In the summer, Paradise Valley is an hour’s drive from the north entrance of Yellowstone Park and all of the beauty and wildlife the park has to offer! The Yellowstone River is also a major hot spot for fly fishing! The valley is home to some of the best horseback riding in Montana, as well as ziplining, hiking, and river rafting.
