Enjoy an idyllic stay in our beautiful home in the heart of Oxford! Whether your perfect holiday involves lots of countryside walks, shopping, exploring the local history or just curling up on the sofa, our home is the ideal base for everyone to enjoy!
As you come into the home, you are welcomed into the beautifully decorated living room and dining area, a great space to enjoy a lovely home-cooked meal (or a takeaway!), to while away the evening with a glass of wine and a good book! Our cosy living space, boasts a comfortable sofa, armchair and smart TV, so you can catch up on your favourite shows or just watch the fire after a busy day of exploring.
Through the dining area, we also have a beautiful new kitchen with all the essentials you’ll need to cook up a storm! We also have a lovely, light conservatory area making it the perfect space for soaking up the sun with your morning coffee or enjoying the night skies.
Upstairs, you will find our bedrooms, all newly refurbished and beautifully decorated to ensure a great night’s sleep. On the first floor, one room offers a balcony, offering beautiful views of a tributary of the River Thames, and the other boasts an en-suite bathroom. On the top floor, we also have a lovely attic room with velux windows looking out over the garden - so there will be no fighting over the rooms!
All bedrooms are also served by our master bathroom on the first floor, with a shower and a bath, if you enjoy a long soak after a busy day.
For those looking to get a bit of work done on their trip, we have a great study area in the top bedroom with a laptop-friendly desk and chair, so you can tuck yourself away and enjoy some peace and quiet.
In the garden, there is a beautiful decking area and outdoor seating so you can fully enjoy the peaceful sounds of the river flowing past. (We would just ask that you are careful outside as there is no barrier between the garden and the river!)
You will not be stuck for something to do in this area; there are some amazing walks along the river banks, and central Oxford is just a 10-15 minute walk (depending on where you are going - and how fast you walk of course!).
However, please note that due to the current closure of the Botley Bridge and the extension of Oxford Station, , the centre of the city is only accessible by car from the ring road.
We also have a Waitrose just a 10 minute walk away and then the some more shops just a little further up the Botley Road.
