Oakbank Cottage is our cozy hideaway situated near the village of Luss within the Loch Lomond National Park. Sleeping 4 adults and 2 kids there are stunning walks and easy access to Loch Lomond for all sorts of outdoor activities. Our beautiful country garden is filled with wild birds and plants, all of which can be enjoyed from our hot tub. Pizza lovers can get stuck into the wood-burning pizza oven or get tucked up inside next to the wood-burning stove. Start the day off with a sauna!
This charming cottage is thoughtfully designed on one level, with just a few small steps inside for ease of access. Guests have exclusive use of the entire house, including a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, and all essentials for a comfortable stay. We provide hotel-quality bed linens and towels, and can pre-stock the fridge with your preferred items on request.
Step out the back door and enjoy a scenic 15-minute walk uphill to breathtaking panoramic views of Loch Lomond. The cottage features a traditional pizza oven, a private sauna, and a relaxing hot tub—perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the stunning surroundings. The beautifully maintained garden offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature.
Small short-haired dogs are welcome, making this the ideal getaway for families and pet lovers alike. Combining comfort, luxury, and spectacular scenery, this cottage promises an unforgettable Loch Lomond experience.
Guests will have full access to the entire property throughout their stay, including all rooms and amenities. Check-in details, including access instructions and key collection, will be shared in advance via our electronic guidebook link to ensure a smooth arrival.
Situated in a rural setting, public transport options are limited, so having your own vehicle is highly recommended for easy and flexible travel. The nearest train station is in Balloch, from where taxis are readily available to reach the cottage.
For drivers, the property is conveniently located just off the main A82 road. This scenic route takes you past charming spots like Inverbeg and Tarbet, where the road forks, offering breathtaking coastal views along Scotland’s West Coast—truly some of the most stunning roadside scenery you’ll find.
For a more unique travel experience, we offer discounted boat rates on Loch Lomond, providing a stylish and relaxing way to explore the nearby islands, as well as iconic landmarks such as Ben Lomond. Exploring the loch by boat adds an unforgettable dimension to your stay.
We can arrange the rental of a high chair and travel cot upon request during your stay.
