Things To Know
Payment & Cancellation - 30 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.
House rules
- No Parties or Events:
- Parties and events are strictly prohibited.
- No Fireworks:
- Fireworks of any kind are not permitted on the property.
- Rental Agreement
- All guests are required to sign our rental agreement.
- Failure to sign will result in the cancellation of your booking with no refund.
- Security Deposit
- A $350 security deposit hold is required.
- A secure link will be sent to complete this hold.
- This is not a charge—just a hold on your credit card.
- It is released after checkout if no damage has occurred and the property is left in good order.
- Please tidy up after yourself to avoid additional cleaning charges.
- Check-In Requirements
- To receive your door code:
- Complete the online check-in form
- Upload a government-issued photo ID
- Your code will not generate until these steps are complete.
- Smoking & Vaping
- Smoking is not permitted indoors.
- You may smoke outside
- Please use provided ashtrays—extra cleaning fees apply if cigarette butts are found outside of them.
- Shoes
- Please do not wear shoes inside the house.
- Bugs
- We are in a natural, lakeside setting. Please bring bug spray or repellent for your comfort outdoors.
- Guest Registration
- Rates are based on double occupancy and there is a charge for each additional Guest after 2 up to the Max capacity. You must Register all guest.
- No unregistered guests are allowed after 10 PM.
- All guests must be listed on the pre-check-in form.
- Housekeeping
- No daily housekeeping service is provided.
- Fresh linens and bath towels are included.
- Please bring your own beach towels.
- Do not remove linens or towels from the home.
- Extra cleaning service is available upon request—fees apply.
- Noise Policy
- Please respect our quiet hours: 9 PM to 8 AM
- Excessive noise that disturbs the neighbors is not permitted and could result with being evicted with no refund.
- Garbage & Recycling
- Take out garbage daily to avoid odors.
- Recyclables must be sorted properly—not in plastic bags.
- A $75 fee applies if sorting is not followed.
- Parking
- Park only in front of our house in the driveway.
- Do not park on the grass—violators may be towed at their own expense.
- Appliances & Kitchen Use
- Use appliances only as intended.
- Kitchenware is provided—please load and start the dishwasher before checkout.
- Dish soap and cloths are under the sink.
- Furniture & Décor
- Please do not move furniture or décor—doing so may damage floors or disrupt the ambiance and you will be responsible for any damages from the result of moving furniture.
- Pets
- This property is not pet-friendly. Thank you for your understanding.
- Towel Use
- Please leave used towels on the bathroom floor before checkout.
- Water & Septic System
- Only flush toilet paper.
- No feminine products or foreign materials—violations may result in charges up to $1,000 for septic damage.
- Liability Notice
- The property owners and managers are not liable for any accidents, injuries, illnesses, or loss of belongings during your stay.
- By booking, you accept full responsibility for yourself and any guests you invite onto the property.
